Do you like to use ribbons in your projects? Straight ribbons are easy to find, right? Not always. In fact, it is possible to get some greyscale ribbons and colorize them to match your project, but some colors are quite hard to get right (like the yellows). In addition, the ribbons you get would always be the exact same kind, with the same size, same shape, same light/dark areas, etc.
This script was requested by DeLoris who wanted some simple basic ribbons but with the ability to create several of them at once. I just thought it would be best to also add some randomization so that each ribbon created will be slightly different from the next one, even if you are using the same color palette.
You can generate up to 20 ribbons with a single run of the script. You can choose the thickness of the ribbons, from 100 to 300 pixels. Each ribbon will be 4000 pixels so you will be able to use them across your page, even at an angle!

I went a little crazy with the freebie, this week. I found a fun color palette that seemed nice for a spring theme (sorry for our Aussie friends who are heading toward winter, but spring will be back in 6 months!).
I created 25 ribbons for you, using the different colors, different size, and the script generated all those ribbons (that makes for an unusually large file).
They are all 4000 pixels long so you can use them in many ways.

Are you often looking for the perfect loop but you can only find templates that you have to colorize in one color? or a script that only lets you choose a color, gradient or pattern, but does not give a very realistic effect, especially with patterns?
I know it is a bit American holiday coming up (I see that in the numerous 4th of July), but I also know that not everybody is American, so I figured I could create some basic eyelet edges for everyone, in basic colors. This sampler will give you 5 different eyelets in 4000 pixels each.

I created this tree using 3 copies of the same ribbon that i colorized 3 times. I added beads that came with one of my PSP versions, and the ornaments are also tubes from PSP. All the ribbon pieces are on separate layers. All the beads are on one layer, and the ornaments on another layer, so you can remove the beads or the balls, or both and use the other parts to your liking. There is a slight drop shadow on each piece, but it is small enough that you can add your own, make some branches rise (or drop), you can insert other decorative elements between the branches, etc. This tree is in PSD format, so most of you can use it.

But i am sure you would like to have this script for free, right? You have this option if you add your name to

And for a closer look at the result of this script, i created 2 ribbons from scratch (so they are 100% original) and ran the script on them. You get both the straight version and the folded version of both. That means you can use them separately, together or even run another script on the straight ribbon. Remember that there are many other scripts in the store that could be used with a straight ribbon of yours!
