New script – Datestamp 8

This is another way to add a small detail to your project, whether it is an actual date, a name, a location, or an event. And this format is quite unique and more interesting than just a little bit of text on your page.

This script allows you to choose any text for it, and you can also choose the font for the main text. The color can be selected in the beginning, but since the result will be on separate layers, you can always colorize the sections separately if you want.

New script – Date Button 1

Date button script for PaintShop ProThere are various ways to add a date, but did you ever think of writing it on a button? Why not? They are perfect in size to add small text like a date and with this script, you can customize it with the color, gradient, pattern, text, font or even other designs.

Once the button is done, you can either stick it to your project or add a string made from a picture tube. You could also add a little bow if you have one!

Datestamps for 2018 in png formatAs a sampler, I created 12 stamps with the months of 2018 and that you can personalize as there is still space to either add a date, a design, or anything else you might want to add (or you can leave it blank too).

New script – Datestamp #4

Datestamp script for Paintshop ProThere are so many ways you can have a date on a project. That is why we are up to the fourth different datestamp script. But don't limit yourself to a date; this script allows you to add other messages, words or phrases.

In addition to be able to choose ANY text, you can also choose any color for it, any font for the text and one of 6 ways to fill the center.

You can keep a simple set of straight lines so you can add hand written notes. You can leave the center empty so you can add another design, preset shape or hand drawn element. You can use the filled circle in the center as a template to add a photo of some kind. The possibilities are literally endless.

You can grab this fun script in the store: Datestamp #4.

For a chance to win this script, tell me how you tend to add dates to your graphic projects. Do you use elements? Just text? Alphas? Add your answer in the comments below. I'll announce a winner in the newsletter, next week. Not a subscriber yet? Not a problem. You can register here and it is free (and you only get one email per week).

Datestamp with days of the weekAs a sample of what this script can do, I created a set of datestamps using simply the days of the week with straight lines in the center. This should be versatile enough to let you customize them. Of course, you can also remove those lines in the middle if you want. I won't be offended!

Each one is about 500 pixels wide, in greyscale so you can change the color (like I did in the preview). Since they are also in png format, you can use them even if you are not a PSP user.

New script – Datestamp #3

Datestamp 3 script for Paintshop ProThere are so many ways to add a date on a project, but even though they might be fairly easy to create manually, it is often taking a little bit more time than we really need, and if we ever want to create a series of them, it multiplies the challenges of making them fast, but also accurate.

This script will create a simple datestamp to add a month and date, or month and day for you. But, since you can choose any text you want, there are ways to be creative with it and have something else than a date, like a greeting, a short phrase and much more.

Since you can choose any font for the inside text, you can really create something with various themes, or moods, depending on your actual project.

For your chance to win this script, tell me what ELSE than a date can you imagine using this script for? Show us your creativity and share more ideas than what i have! I'll announce a winner in the newsletter, next week. Not a subscriber yet? Not a problem. You can register here and it is free (and you only get one email per week).

datestamp 3 samples for all the months of 2015For a sample of this script, i created a series of 12 stamps, for each month of 2015. They are in png format.

You can use them to date your projects or your photos, or as a way to date your year in review project.

Each element is about 500 pixels wide, and although they are white, you can easily colorize them by first lowering the brightness to turn the white into a grey.

What project can you add those to? Maybe a layout that is already done and is still requiring a fun way to date it?

Remember to show us what you do with those. Either link in the comments below, or pin it on our group board.

New script – Datestamp #2

Datestamp script for Paintshop ProDatestamps have been used for years in a way to indicate a particular date on a document, most often an envelope, but in graphic design and scrapbooking, these have become much more than just a way to add a date.

This script will allow you to create a custom datestamp that will really fit your need and your current project. You can choose any text you want, whether it is a date, a location, a name or a phrase. You can choose any font you want, as long as it is accessible by your PSP. You can choose any color, gradient or pattern and you can even add a texture if you want something original. Then, in the center, you can add another short text element, like a year, a name or another word and still use yet a different font.

Just like the old datestamps that had long lines to cover a certain number of postage stamps that would have been on the envelope, you also have the option to add those lines, either straight or wavy, on either side or on both. That makes this script extremely versatile and you can make so many different looking elements!

With all the options available, what would you use this script for? What would you write on it? Post a comment below and i will pick a winner next week and will announce it in the newsletter. cass-Datestamp2-MonthsHow about a little sample. Of course, i can't put the name of your sister, or the location of your last vacation in a sampler but i can give you a standard date datestamp. If you want to add a fun label to your layout to indicate when the particular event took place, you can use these stamps. They are in greyscale so you can change the color to your liking to match your project.

Each stamp is 500 pixels high so it is easy to size them down if needed too.

You need to be logged in to download this sample. You can either login, or register on the top of this page.

Although those stamps do not have the lines on the side, it would be super easy for you to add them yourself using the Brush tool (or the Pen tool if you prefer to work with vectors). Will you show us what you make with those? How do you use them in your layout?

New script – Ghost Date

cass-GhostDateYou always need to find something different and original to add a date to a project. This is one of those unusual options.

The Paitnshop Pro script will help you create a date where the actual number will be the focus while the month and the year will overlap and cutout from the number. Even better, you can choose ANY font for each of the elements.

The year, at the bottom, is only optional.

The end result is a single raster layer so you can use it as is, colorize it, use it as a mask and more. It is a great idea to create journaling cards for a “Project Life” or to date photos in a “Project 365”.

In fact, you can also use other words than months. For example, you can use the word MONTH, or WEEK, or GRADE to associate with other kinds of numbers.

Grab this script in the store: Ghost Date.

cass-GhostDate-2014inReviewFor a sample, this week, i went a bit outside of the box with the script: i didn’t create an actual date.

Instead of a date, i put the year, and instead of the month, i used the word “in review”.

This is a great time to create a layout (even a double size layout) with the highlights of the year, things you want to remember, people you met, places you visited. Then, you can use this element as a title on top, or why not in the middle?

You need to be logged in to download this sample. You can either login, or register on the top of this page.

If you create such a year in review project, remember to show us!
