New Tubes – Colored Petals

Colored Petal picture tubes for Paintshop ProAlthough it is easy enough to purchase extracted flower petals, it is tedious to place them where you want, and even more if you want to scatter them randomly.

These petals were also extracted but exported as picture tubes so that you can scatter them anywhere on your project, simply by dragging your cursor on your project.

This product includes 20 sets of petals in 10 colors: one set has no shadow, so you can add your own, and one has a slight shadow, mostly to give a 3D effect on petals that might be overlapping.

Colored petal frames in PNG formatFor a sample of these tubes, I created two frames made of petals. Each frame is almost 3600 pixels wide, so you can resize it as you need it.

New Tubes – Crochet Lace Tubes 2

This is the second set of tubes to create crochet lace edges on any element you create. This set includes 5 more picture tubes that you can use simply while drawing with your cursor.

What will you make? Frames? Edges? Clusters?

They are in greyscale so you can colorize them in a color that will match your project. No more having to search for that perfect lace; you can create it.

Crochet Lace frame in PNG formatAs a sampler, this week, I created an oval lace frame using one of the tubes in this set. It is left in greyscale so you can colorise it as you wish. You can use it to frame a picture but also a quote or a particular element you might have scanned and extracted, like a memorabilia.

New tubes – Crochet Lace Edge 1

Crochet Lace Edge picture tubes for Paintshop ProDo you like lace edging? Can you find some that suits your project? Something that is the right color, the right length?

These are tubes so you can drag your cursor anywhere and create a crochet lace as long as you want.

You can certainly use them as is, like a piece of lace to add to a cluster, or you can actually edge a paper, or make frames. You can even thread some ribbons through them for an even more customized look.

Have fun with those.

Crochet Lace frames in png formatAs a sample, this week, I created a long strip of lace and turned it into two frames using the Mitered Corner Frame script. In order to make nice corners, i trimmed the strip exactly between "loops" then measured the length of a loop in order to set a size, in the script, that would use complete loops. I think it turned out great.

These frames are left in greyscale so you can colorize them to match your own project.

I hope you will show me what you do with them!

New tubes – Skyline

Skyline picture tubes for Paintshop ProThese are picture tubes. Each set has 26 different "building" silhouette, and there are 3 sets: one for residential buildings, one for commercial buildings and one for industrial buildings (so you have a total of 78 buildings!)

Since they are picture tubes, you can simply drag your cursor along whatever path you want to place your buildings, and that's it. Adjust the scale if you want larger/smaller buildings.

All the windows are empty but you can easily fill them up by painting behind.

Skyline border in png formatIn order to get a closer look at these tubes, I created 3 "borders", one with each tube set.

Change the brightness to turn them to grey, colorize (or paint) them. If you want more than one row, duplicate one and flip it around; it will look like a different set completely.  Layer them as you wish.

Each border is 3600 pixels long so you can use them on a full-size project.

New tubes – Chicken Wire

Chicken wire tubes for Paintshop Pro If you want to create a rustic design, either as a background or an element, chicken wires might give you just that look.

You can use ready-made chicken wire pictures or vector designs, but here is a great tube that you can shape however you want, with just a draw of your cursor. Make it straight or not so straight, depending on what you want.

You get 12 different "colors" of wires with this set, so you can be even more creative than with regular ordinary wire.

Chicken wire frameAs a sampler, i created this frame (using the Wooden Frame script) and added some wires behind it. I thought that you could possibly add some clothespins and attach various photos or objects, but you could also have a photo placed behind, or even cut the wires and make it even more "rustic".

It is a png format so it could be used in various graphic programs.

Christmas Lights – PSP Tubes

Christmas light picture tubes for Paintshop ProHow about adding some Christmas lights to your project?

If you are looking for ready made elements, they might be the wrong color for your goal, or the wrong length, or the wrong shape.

But with these tubes, you can "draw" a light string any way you want.

You get a total of 12 sets to play with and combine if you want.

Christmas Lights FrameAs a sampler, I created several oval frames using 5 monochrome sets and one multicolored set.

All the sets are drawn along the exact same path so you can overlap some frames to combine 2 or 3 colors that you might prefer.

All the frames are in PNG format.

New tubes – Fence links

Fence Links tubesWhat could you do with a custom fence made of interlocking links in the color of your choice and the length of your choice?

But the biggest question is where to find such a perfect fence? You can now create it yourself with this set of picture tubes. Draw the fence straight or curvy with your cursor and the links will magically attach together.

You get a set of 12 color fence links. You can make your fence in one single color, or you can attach several colors together.

Chain link fencesAs a sampler this week, I created 2 fences for you to use. One is blue white and red (perfect for our American friends celebrating the 4th of July, or our French friends for the 14th of July),  and one red and white for my Canadian friends, celebrating on July 1st.

Both fences are a bit over 3000 pixels in length. You can resize them if needed.

New tubes – Fringes

Fringe picture tubes for Paintshop ProThis picture tube for Paintshop Pro is unique in that it lets you place fringes along the edge of any element. Use your cursor or a script to place those fringes.

You can play with the settings, and change the placement mode to have very evenly spaced strands, or keep it at random for a less regular placement. Adjust the size as you want. The full size will give you strands that are 1000 pixels high, so it will be easy to size it down to fit your needs.

These fringes match perfectly the Wool tubes, so you can create the top edge of the fringe with the wool tube. Or you can create custom sequins to create a more delicate top. Of course, you can also place those fringes under a straight edge for yet a totally different look.

Grab these tubes in the store: Fringes.

For a chance to win this set of fringe tubes, give me one use you could suggest for those fringes. Let me your suggestion in the comments below. The winner will be announce in the newsletter, next week. Not a subscriber yet? Not a problem. You can register here and it is free (and you only get one email per week).

Fringe Border in PSD formatAs a sample of this tube, I created a long border with the white fringe, and I added also a sequin border. The whole fringe also has a template for the top part if you want to replace it by your own paper.

The whole border is 4000 pixels long, so you can size it down, and it will still cover the whole width of a full size scrapbook page.

Add your own shadow on the sequin edge and the fringe itself. You can also duplicate the fringe layer for a thicker effect.
