New script – Datestamps #12

Datestamp script for PaintShop ProDatestamps can be used for much more than just dates. It is a way to add a name, a location, an event, or even a common phrase that can be associated with a photo or a story.

There are different Datestamps in the store and this one is the 12th in the series.

This script allows  you to choose the text and color of your choice, but you also get the choice for the top and the middle font, which can be identical or different. In addition, the zip file comes with five brushes to add some designs in the center of the datestamp. You can also keep it empty and add something else, later.

Datestamps for the months in PNG formatFor a sample, I created a set of 12 datestamps with the months of the year. I have three years listed on top so you can always circle the one that matches your project. I purposefully left the space empty at the very bottom so you can add a date if you want. Everything is in greyscale so you can colorize it, and it is in png format.

New script – Newspaper Alpha

Newspaper alphabet script for PaintShop ProNewspapers can be a fun medium to print letters on, and create a random effect. This might be easy but it is quite tedious to have something very irregular. That is why this script will be a time-saver.

The script will let you choose several fonts that will be used at random (you can also choose only one font if you want). Then, you can also select up to 6 colors that will also be selected at random. Finally, you can ask the script to respect the cases or mix up the uppercase and lowercase for the characters you chose.

And you can even choose to have tinted paper if you want to match a color palette.

This script will use any straight ribbon and cut random pieces from it to create the bow. This means that even using the same starting ribbon, you will have different results.

New script – Line Painting

Line Painting script for PaintShop ProWhen I was in school, I remember one art class where we had to use straight lines of different thicknesses to replicate a simple image. I was not very good at that, but I would have loved to have this script, which does it in just a few seconds.

Starting with any image, the script will reduce the number of colors and change it to greyscale to determine the brightness of each section and then fill those sections with straight lines in different thicknesses. In the end, you get various options to finish the project. You can use those line paintings to display photos that have odd colors, or not in focus, or just as a background for your page.
