New script – Sponges

If you have any project around a "cleaning" theme, you might want to add various sponges in different shapes and colors.

This script will turn any shape or any color in one of four different sponge textures. To add some realism, you can have a clean sponge, a dirty one or even a filthy one. And with the randomness integrated into the script, every run will be unique, with different stains for each element you create.

For a sampler, I created 10 sponges with the individual digits, and the cellulose texture. Every sponge is meant to be filthy. That would be perfect for any spring cleaning theme project.

New script – Cracked Paint 2

If you like the grungy style, this script will help you. It can turn any design, drawing, photo, or any flat element into a wooden item with cracked paint all over.

Every run of the script will yield a different result because the cracks will be in different shapes, and various random areas will be unaffected.

The end result will be left unmerged so you can apply additional effects if you want, or change the color of the wood base.

New script – Fabric Patch

Fabric patch script for PaintShop ProNow, you can turn any vector shape into one of 8 fabric textures. The script will use the color you started with and will blend in the texture. You can create titles with it, frames, mats, cluster elements, etc.

The script will add stitching around the edge (you decide how close to the edge you want it and its color), and you can also have a frayed edge along the whole border. The stitching and the frayed edge will be left unmerged at the end, so you can tweak them, or remove them, or even use them separately somewhere else.

New script – Imprint

You can now turn any shape into an impression on your project, whether it is supposed to be sand, playdough or cardboard.

You can choose any shape or text and, depending on the effect you want, and the size you have, you get three possible depth to select from. You might need to experiment with the settings. In the end, you can also adjust the opacity to make the impression more obvious if you have a busy background. And don't worry, you can move it around if you are unsure where you want it on your project.

For a sampler, I created some fun imprints of sound effects like you would find in comic books. They are about 600-700 pixels in width and in PNG format. You would get a great result by changing the blend mode to Overlay once the elements are on your project. That will make the colors pop.

Impasto texture script for PaintShop ProThis script will add a fun texture to any shape or design, in addition to modifying the edges to give a smooth or rough border.

There are six different textures that will randomly be used, along with other settings yielding a different result for every run.

You can now create fun or crazy patches for your next project, whether it is a letter, a digit, a basic or even an irregular shape. <

The script will use any vector shape, in any color and turn it into a jeans texture with stitching in the color you want and frayed edge. Since all the layers will be left unmerged, you will be able to tweak them, remove the frayed edge or even use the stitching somewhere else.

Cheese Texture script for PaintShop ProWhether you are a food lover or a cook, or have had a food-related experience you want to share, this script will be a fun tool for you.

You will be able to convert any shape (whether it is a letter, a digit, a symbol or any other shape) into a fun looking cheese, full of holes. The color of the cheese and the holes are all selected at random. Every run of the script will yield a different piece of cheese even if you start with the same shape.

Cheese digits in png formatAs a sample, I created digits that will perfectly match the hamburger digits, so if you want to layer them, you will just have to melt the cheese using the Warp Brush tool and it will make a delicious burger.
