New script – Kidnap Alpha 2

Kidnap Alpha 2 lets you create playful ransom-style titles using your own patterned papers in PaintShop Pro. Each letter is cut from a random section of your papers, with angled shapes, optional torn edges, and full control over fonts and colors. You can mix and match the layered pieces to build unique scrapbook titles every time you run the script.

For a sample, I created a frame where I drew a few preset shapes and ran the VectorTube to place a gold colored rope (the one that came with PSP2022. Then, I selected various sections and filled them with different colors of pebbles. With a little shadowing, the rope was added above the pebbles. This frame is quite large and in PNG format, so you can use it in a variety of programs to showcase your favorite photo.

New script – Quick Pinking

Add a clean, realistic pinked edge to your papers, photos, and elements with just one click. The Quick Pinking script automatically adjusts the spacing so the zigzag edge fits perfectly every time, with no partial teeth. You can apply the pinking to any single side, two opposite sides, or all four sides. You can then add shadows, stitching, or extra details afterward.

New script – String Tie

This week’s script lets you create your own string-tie closures, just like the ones you see on envelopes and notebooks — but fully customizable. You can pick the button shape, the colors, the spacing, and even the angle so the tie fits perfectly on your project. Each run gives you a slightly different result thanks to a few fun random elements, including the loose end.

All the layers stay unmerged, neatly grouped, and ready for you to tweak or drop onto your page.

New script – Travel Tag 5

Want to add some travel flair or realistic labels to your projects? This new script will create customizable Travel Tags with your own text, colors, and style.

You can enter up to three lines of text, pick any color, gradient, or pattern, and the script will automatically create a lighter center area with a subtle grid texture for a printed look. It even adjusts the contrast if your tag color is too dark or too light.

Add random numbers, your own text, or an empty box ready to add written text. Every tag is different, making it perfect for scrapbook pages, travel projects, or fun digital labels!

New script – Knot #18

Do you ever struggle to make ribbons look natural when tying them digitally? This new script will take care of that for you! Whether you choose one, two, or three ribbons, the script will automatically prepare them and tie them into a lovely triple knot.

Each time you run the script, you’ll get a slightly different result — the tails will angle differently, the ribbon segments will vary, and the knot itself will be randomly picked from your chosen ribbons. You can create endless unique bows without having to manually crop, resize, or align anything!
