New script – Photo Circle Template

You might be able to get some ready-made templates to showcase your photos but how about creating some that will perfectly match what you need?

This script will create a template with 6 to 16 repeats of a specific shape. You can choose one of the included shapes, or draw your own for a different effect. Each area will be converted into a mask group to make it easy for you to add your photos.

For a sampler, I am sharing the basic template created to make the preview. It includes eight circular areas for you to showcase your photos, or something else.

New picture tubes – Decorative Icing 4

If you like to decorate cakes or even want to showcase some dessert, you can use these picture tubes to add a sweet decoration to your page.

These are incremental picture tubes which means they will create a regular repetitive shell design following your cursor, as if you had used a piping bag! And if you want a nice even shape, you can use a vector path to apply them to.

For a sampler, I created two frames using chocolate flavors: one is darker chocolate and the other is likely more milk chocolate. Each frame is in PNG format and about 2600 pixels wide.

New Brushes – Punches B

This set of brushes will allow you to paint or cut intricate designs in the middle of a paper (or a photo). Create cutouts away from the edges and corners.

You can also use the UNerase function to re-add paper where the punches would otherwise remove it. You can then customize the designs even further.

You get 10 different designs, mostly using diamonds and squares.

As a sample, I created a set of greyscale bookmarks with a central cutout and one with cutouts on the ends. One has a heart shape punched out, while the others are blank for you to add anything else you want. The design can even be cut from actual paper/cardstock using a cutting machine. You can colorize these strips any way you want. Each "bookmark" is 600x3000 pixels long and can also be used as an element on your next project.

New script – Bow #24

Yes, this is another bow script, but honestly, who can have too many different bows in their stash? This script will generate a bow that will be kind of droopy.

It will use a 200-pixel ribbon. The end result will be grouped (so you can resize it if you want) and unmerged (so you can tweak it if you need to).

To win this product, add a comment on this Facebook post telling us if you ever tried making a bow from scratch (remember, add a comment, not just a Like!) We will announce the winner in the newsletter, next week. Not a subscriber yet? Not a problem. You can register here and it is free (and you only get one email per week).

For a sample, I created three bows that would be suitable for Valentine Day's projects. I used various straight ribbons and colorized them to get that traditional red color for the occasion. Each bow is in PNG format.

New script – Pencil Sketch 2

If you want to convert a part of your photo into a "technical" pencil sketch drawing, this script will help you with it. You can use any image and any section to convert.

The script will create a brownish base paper, but you can also use your own, in any color, with any texture.

All the layers are left unmerged so you can tweak each of them as you want, erasing sections, colorizing them, etc.

o, sketch, As a sample, I used pictures of isolated flower clusters and ran the script. I added a separate frame and removed the "technical" drawings as they didn't seem to fit with the theme. Each card is 4x6 and has enough space for you to write a sentiment, a quote, or a message.

New script – Painted Frames 2

You can now add some painted frames around any photo, element, or even just a selection. This means that you can even work directly on your work in progress.

This script will take care of all the calculations so you will have an even frame all around. You can use a single color or two different colors.

And if you want something irregular, you can add that to the paint stroke.

As a sample, I created two frames for 4x6-inch photos. I left the layers unmerged so you can use the Lock Transparency to change the colors of the different layers.

New script – Letterpress

You can now display your favorite quote or title in a unique way.

The script will create all the individual pieces for the characters or symbols you want, in any font you want. You can choose to type in a word or a phrase, or the whole alphabet. Once the pieces are created, you can also have a board built for you to display your text.

For a sample, I created a whole alphabet in basic font and a single row board for you to display a title of your choice.

New script – Counting cards 1

Whether you are doing a "Project 52" or just want to showcase your photos, sometimes, it can be fun to have an overlay to show the week and year of that particular photo.

This script will create a complete set of 53 cards (yes, there is a 53th week in the year, for the few days left). You can choose the fonts, the color, the size, and the format.

All the cards/overlays will be combined into a single file with 53 individual layers, clearly labelled so you can just pick the one you need at the time.

As a sampler, I created a whole set of raster overlays for you to showcase the year 2023. All the layers are in white, but you know that you can change that easily, right? The format is 6x4, which is fairly standard for printing, but also if you are doing pocket scrapbooking.

New picture tubes – Tinsel A

In the store, we have some garlands that are bold and full, but this time, we offer you some more delicate variations on those garlands. You get 10 different colors with white ends. In addition, there is one gold and one silver set for more festive projects.

Use those picture tubes along a path using the VectorTube script, or draw freehand to create frames, texts, and doodles.

For a sampler, I drew the text for this Happy Holidays sign using the gold tinsel tube. I also used the VectorTube script to outline the sign. Each section is on an individual layer so you can use the sign without the text, or the text without the sign. You can even replace the red background with something else.

New script – Christmas Balls 3

This set now includes 15 additional designs to create your own Christmas ornaments with your choice of colors and color combinations. This will allow you to create up to a dozen Christmas balls in one run.

This script, like the other similar ones, will let you create those decorations that will perfectly match the rest of your kit or your project.
