Although it is easy enough to purchase extracted flower petals, it is tedious to place them where you want, and even more if you want to scatter them randomly.
These petals were also extracted but exported as picture tubes so that you can scatter them anywhere on your project, simply by dragging your cursor on your project.
This product includes 20 sets of petals in 10 colors: one set has no shadow, so you can add your own, and one has a slight shadow, mostly to give a 3D effect on petals that might be overlapping.
Get these tubes in the store: Colored Petals Tubes
In order to win these tubes, add a comment on this Facebook post telling us what is your favorite color for rose petals (remember, add a comment, not just a Like!) The winner will be announced in the newsletter, next week. Not a subscriber yet? Not a problem. You can register here and it is free (and you only get one email per week).
For a sample of these tubes, I created two frames made of petals. Each frame is almost 3600 pixels wide, so you can resize it as you need it.
You need to be logged in to download this sample. You can either login, or register on the top of this page.

This is the second set of tubes to create crochet lace edges on any element you create. This set includes 5 more picture tubes that you can use simply while drawing with your cursor.
As a sampler, this week, I created an oval lace frame using one of the tubes in this set. It is left in greyscale so you can colorise it as you wish. You can use it to frame a picture but also a quote or a particular element you might have scanned and extracted, like a memorabilia.
Do you like lace edging? Can you find some that suits your project? Something that is the right color, the right length?
As a sample, this week, I created a long strip of lace and turned it into two frames using the Mitered Corner Frame script. In order to make nice corners, i trimmed the strip exactly between "loops" then measured the length of a loop in order to set a size, in the script, that would use complete loops. I think it turned out great.
These are picture tubes. Each set has 26 different "building" silhouette, and there are 3 sets: one for residential buildings, one for commercial buildings and one for industrial buildings (so you have a total of 78 buildings!)
In order to get a closer look at these tubes, I created 3 "borders", one with each tube set.
If you want to create a rustic design, either as a background or an element, chicken wires might give you just that look.
As a sampler, i created this frame (using the Wooden Frame script) and added some wires behind it. I thought that you could possibly add some clothespins and attach various photos or objects, but you could also have a photo placed behind, or even cut the wires and make it even more "rustic".
Sometimes, for the holidays, you need a little delicate touch. These charms are just what you need.
For the sample, this week, I created a double swag with the white snowflakes.
Adding holiday decorations is always fun, and even better when you do it digitally.
This week, for a sampler, I used several products from the store to create a decorated wooden window. I used the Wooden Window script, the Christmas lights and the Christmas strings.
How about adding some Christmas lights to your project?
As a sampler, I created several oval frames using 5 monochrome sets and one multicolored set.
What could you do with a custom fence made of interlocking links in the color of your choice and the length of your choice?
As a sampler this week, I created 2 fences for you to use. One is blue white and red (perfect for our American friends celebrating the 4th of July, or our French friends for the 14th of July), and one red and white for my Canadian friends, celebrating on July 1st.
This picture tube for Paintshop Pro is unique in that it lets you place fringes along the edge of any element. Use your cursor or a script to place those fringes.
As a sample of this tube, I created a long border with the white fringe, and I added also a sequin border. The whole fringe also has a template for the top part if you want to replace it by your own paper.
