New script – Paper pad

Ever wished you could make your own notepad-style element using any paper or shape you like? This new Paper Pad script for PaintShop Pro lets you do just that! Turn any flat paper into a multi-layered pad, complete with realistic torn edges at the top.

Choose how many pages you want to appear ripped (from 1 to 3), and let the script stack them automatically. You can even use custom shapes like hearts, stars, or letters—not just rectangles!

All the pages are placed on separate layers so you can easily: remove a few pages for variety, colorize each page individually, or add your own shadows and finishing touches

New Script – Envelope #4

You can add an envelope with various papers you have. You can add some stains, distressing, or scribbles on those envelope and use them in clusters, or as elements for your project.

This script will create the envelope but it also includes an array of brushes to add some randomness to your envelope so that every run of the script will yield a different result. You can also add your own details to the envelope once it is completed.

For a sample, I created an open envelope and added a little card. The envelope is in layered PSD format, so you can open it in most programs. You can add designs or messages on the card, but you can also add some details to the envelope itself if you want.

New script – Sponges

If you have any project around a "cleaning" theme, you might want to add various sponges in different shapes and colors.

This script will turn any shape or any color in one of four different sponge textures. To add some realism, you can have a clean sponge, a dirty one or even a filthy one. And with the randomness integrated into the script, every run will be unique, with different stains for each element you create.

For a sampler, I created 10 sponges with the individual digits, and the cellulose texture. Every sponge is meant to be filthy. That would be perfect for any spring cleaning theme project.

New script – Glitches

For a sample, I created a 404 message using all of those types of glitches. They are in png format so you can use them in any project, and you can resize them as they are fairly large to start with.

New picture tubes – Gimp Trims 3

The first Gimp trims were released 13 years ago! But these are slightly different.

You can create delicate ribbons in any length and any shape you want. Use your cursor to draw your ribbons freely, or you can use the VectorTube script to place them along a precise path. Since these ribbons are a little wide, make sure you use a large enough shape and avoid tiny corners and curves.

For samplers, I created two frames for you. Each one is made from running the VectorTube script twice on a simple shape. One trim is full size while the inside trim is half-size for an interesting effect.

New script – Foliage 3

You can turn any vector shape into a fun and colorful flower-filled element with this script. Whether it’s a number, a letter, or a custom shape, you’ll get a unique result with one of five different floral textures.

You can choose the size and the flower style, and the script will do the rest. It’s a great way to add seasonal accents, decorative titles, or nature-inspired clusters to your projects.

For a sampler, I created a full alphabet using a nice script font and the pink flowers. Each letter is about 900 pixels high so you would have the opportunity to resize them to fit your project.

New script – Custom Kit Tags

If you want some variety in tags but you want them to match the kit you are creating or using, this script will give you plenty of them. You can create up to 25 tags to choose from. Each tag will be created based on any papers you open.

The end result is on unmerged layers so you can tweak each of them further. You can change the color of the outline, add a grungy texture, add text, trim sections of the overlay, adjust its opacity, or even change its default color.

For a sample, I generated 12 different tags using papers from the mini-kit Countryside from Jessica Dunn. Each tag is 500x700 pixels in PNG format so you can use them with any program. Each tag also has a hole that you can use to thread a string, a chain, or a ribbon.

New Brushes – Easter Punches

By popular demand, another set of punches has been created, this time with an Easter theme! This collection includes 12 designs, featuring corner punches, edge punches, and individual elements like eggs, chicks, and flowers.

Since they are brushes, you can use them as punches with the Eraser tool or as regular brushes with the Brush tool.

New Script – Uneven Lines

Although you can create uneven lines manually, it can be tedious to repeat the process for many lines on a page.

This script will generate a full-size page of lines in the color of your choice (and up to 6 different colors) with additional options for the line thickness, the line spacing, and amount of distortion for the lines. With the random function integrated in the script, no two lines will be identical and you will get a different result every time you run the script.

The end result will be on a transparent background so you can duplicate that layer, mirror it, rotate it, or modify it however you want for many more creative results.

New script – Stretched Pixels

A great way to showcase a particular subject can be to add a colorful circle based on the image colors. The advantage of this script is that you won't be limited to a straight rectangular section to select the colors. In fact, you will be able to draw over the image where are the most colorful section you want to use.

Once the script has completed, you will have three circles generated from the exact section you have selected. You can use either one or more than one circle and place it/them behind your subject. It will obviously give a better result if your subject is isolated, but you can also use the circles creatively.

For a sample, since this script relies heavily on your own photo, I decided to create a set of sprinkles picture tubes for your Valentine photos, or any other project you want to create. One set is using shades of pink, the other uses shades of red.
