ADSR5 – FIrst challenge

As i told you recently, i teamed up with Diosa to participate in the ADSR over at NDISB. Yesterday, we got our first challenge. We had to use a pic of our partner, and scraplift a LO of theirs to introduce her to the world.  So here is my LO to present you Diosa, my race partner.

challenge1-600

You are more than welcome (hint, hint, hint) to go to the NDISB gallery to leave some comments to our layouts. Click here to get to mine. And here is the lovely page Diosa made about me.

And you can also add comments to HER layout. Just click here. She really did a beautiful job, didn't she?

Slip it in – new script

cass-slipitin

Do you like to have your photos held in place in an original way? This script will help you do that. It will modify your picture (or i should say, a copy of it) in such a way that it will LOOK like there are some paper tabs, or slits holding it. However, it is ONLY an illusion and you can then place your photo on ANY paper to get that great look. You can even place your photo over the edge of two overlapping papers and it will automatically look like you have tabs in each of them. Neat huh?

Sixteen options are available, but one is actually a freehand option so you can make the most original tab shape you want. The possibilities are endless!

Find this neat script in all my stores: Creation Cassel, Do It Digi, Scrapping Whispers and Divine Digital

And if you want a chance to win this script, check out the Happy Place thread at DST, here and add your name to it.

ADSR5 – Script-Scrap-Crop

Diosa and i have decided to join in the ADSR5 race over at NDISB. It will be our first participation in this activity and we are hoping to have fun along the way. Follow us through our blogs or directly in the forum, here.

Here is our official blinkie.

tie the knot – new psp script

cass-knot4

This script will create a knot from just about any ribbon you provide. As long as the ribbon is about 75 x 500 pixels, it will work. To make the knot look even more realistic, make the ribbon 2000 pixels long. That way, the script will be able to use the whole lenght and the pieces will be places as if they were one single ribbon. That will allow you to use a ribbon with a directional pattern, a wide gradient, etc. Since all the pieces are actually placed as if they came from the ribbon, you can also use a translucent or cutout ribbon and you will see through it, as you would normally.

And if you want to attach this knot to something else, like a tag, or around the stems of flowers, you can also do it since the layers are left unmerged (but grouped so they wont get disaligned if you move them).

You can get this at my stores: Creation Cassel, Do It Digi, Scrapping Whispers.

And if you want a chance to get this script for free, just check out this thread at DST and add your name before Monday night.

Glittered Edge – new script

cass-gliltterededge

With this script, you will be able to add a touch of brightness on any element or shape. With many options to choose from, you can create wonderful elements that will brighten your kits or your layout.

Since the glittered edge will be created on a separate layers, you can create successive edges with various settings. You can even use the glittered part on its own, without the base shape.

Available in my stores: Creation Cassel, Do It Digi, Scrapping Whispers.

And if you want a chance to win it, hop over to DST and add your name to this thread.

cass-glitterededge-samplerHow about a little freebie to see these glitters up close? Download this set of glittered digits. Each of them were created with a medium width, medium density, irregular edge and red color glitters.

You need to be logged in to download this sample. You can either login, or register on the top of this page.

color decoder – new script

cass-colordecoderDo you sometimes work on a kit and have to find the matching values of some colors to create or modify another one? Do you provide color palettes to a group of designers or scrappers for tasks or challenges? This script will analyse your color palette and generate either the Red-Green-Blue values, or the Hue-Saturation-Lightness values or simply the Hexadecimal code for each color. Use up to 10 colors with this script.

The file comes with 6 templates you can use to create your color palette. The script will also work with your own color palettes as long as (1) the colors are in a single row/colum and (2) the palette doesn't have any background color.

This script has been tested with versions 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.

Available here:  Creation Cassel, Do It Digi, Scrapping Whispers

Streamer – new script

cass-streamerUsing ANY element you have in a kit or on your page, you can create an original streamer. Use one element or several. Choose to have them placed horizontally or vertically. Get them each rotated a little or totally straight. Get them slightly distorted or intact. If you use only one element, you can have a variation on the brightness to make it less monotonous, or if you have several elements, choose to place them in a repeated sequence, or randomly. So many choices, so many options. Create two horizontal streamers and two vertical ones and combine them into a frame.

It is available in all my stores: Creation Cassel, Do It Digi, Scrapping Whispers and ACOT.

Do you want a chance to WIN this script? Go add your name in this thread at DST and tell me how you can think of using this streamer script.

cass-streamersampler

And here is the freebie for this week. It is a 3600 pixels long streamer with three Christmas element. You also get the individual elements in case you want to play with them too on your layout.

You need to be logged in to download this sample. You can either login, or register on the top of this page.

Inked edges – new script

cass-inkededgeIf you ever did paper scrapping, you likely did use the stamping technique on edges of various elements. Now, you can get this same look, digitally. This script will create a similar appearance around ANY element. You choose the color of the ink, you choose how thick the border will be, then, since the "ink" will be on a separate layer, you can adjust it even more, playing with opacity, blending mode, saturation, lightness, adding texture, etc. You can even run the script several times with different thickness and/or different colors, and blend those all together. And the random function, integrated into the script, will allow you to get a different result every time you run it, even with the exact same settings.

Find it in my stores: CreationCassel.

And if you want a chance to win it, check this thread at DST.

cass-inkededge-numbers

But that is not all. Check this set of  "inked digits". Each digit is layered so you get the base to use as a template and the ink in greyscale that you can colorise. All were done using the Inked Edge script.

You need to be logged in to download this sample. You can either login, or register on the top of this page.

If you like it, leave me a comment or even better, show me how you used it!
