Octagons - PSP Script

Create endless geometric papers with the Octagons script for PaintShop Pro. This script automatically generates seamless tiles based on an octagonal design, using the colors from your own palette. Each tile is built with a combination of octagons and diamond shapes that create a striking geometric pattern suitable for scrapbook pages, backgrounds, and digital design projects.

You can choose up to ten colors for your palette and generate up to fifteen tiles in a single run. The script introduces controlled randomness so that each tile can look different. The grout thickness, the size of the central diamond shapes, and the color arrangements are randomly varied, giving you a wide range of designs while still using the colors you selected.

Several outline options are available. You can choose black grout, white grout, colors taken from your palette, a mixed option that randomly selects between those choices, or no outline at all. When the outline is removed, the tiles contain transparent gaps that can be filled later with patterns, gradients, textures, or glitter papers placed underneath.

Because the tiles are seamless, they can be repeated indefinitely to create larger backgrounds without visible edges. Generate multiple tiles, keep the ones you like best, and discard the others. In just a few clicks, you can build a library of unique geometric papers perfectly coordinated with your palette.
