How long do you need to open, copy, close, paste, resize, move each paper, photo and element of a layout while using a layered template? This script will really speed up the process for you, by taking over the repetitive tasks, while leaving you the flexibility to choose any paper, element or photo you want.
Scroll down to see the scripts in action in a short video clip.
There are 3 scripts in this set: one for papers, one for photos, and one for elements.
The photo script: it will let you open the photo of your choice, resize it to 1.5 times the space alloted in the template, so you can adjust its size, move it to display a part of the photo, or rotate it if you want. The photo will be put into a mask group so you will see exactly how it will display, while letting you change things. Then, you can merge the group.
The paper script: it will let you choose any paper you want, and replace the shape from the active layer into a mask so you can see how it displays directly onto your work. If the shape on the active layer is smaller than the whole template (meaning it does not extend over the edges), you will also get the option to merge the paper with the shape directly within that run. Otherwise, it will leave the shape and the paper as a mask group that you can merge later.
The element script: it will resize the element to 1.5 times the size of the shape on the active layer, allowing you for size adjustments, and will remove the template layer.
For even faster run of these scripts, bind them and place them where you can access them in a single click. Instructions included.
You can also use the companion script MergeGroup-Rename to merge those mask groups while retaining the name of the file for the papers you used.
Compatible with PSP 8 and up.
