If you want a different type of pattern for your background paper, you can try this chevron design. It will use your choice of colors (alternating, random or based on a gradient) and offers you four types of line heights.
The script will fill a new layer on any open image with lines ranging from 50 to 200 pixels. The design will have a definite gap between each shape, so you can use a contrasting color as a background to fill those gaps.
