If you want to create a patch with your child's name, with your anniversary or with any other design of your choice, you can achieve that look with this script.
Starting with any shape, or text, in any color, run the script to add texture to the design, plus piping around it, and a base layer. You get to choose the thickness of the piping and the dimensions of the base layer in addition to choosing the colors.
The end result will be on separate layers so you can tweak the design further by adjusting the brightness if you want. You can also remove the piping or the base layer if you prefer, or you can create a different base with a different shape for it, and rearrange them.
