It is very easy to create single polkadots to turn into a seamless tile. Even with various colors, it is still fast enough. but what if you want to create layered dots, concentric dots in random colors and always seamless? This is trickier but this script does all the randomization and the measuring for you.
Use up to 6 colors and choose to create either a single dot (in 2 layers) or four dots of the same colors but different sizes, or four dots all of different colors and sizes. Each tile ends in named and unmerged layers. This allows you to replace any dot by a gradient or a pattern (if you choose a gradient or a pattern in the initial color picks, you might end up with a background that will not be seamless).
You can create u p to 10 tiles in a single run. Keep the tiles you like, delete the rest. Add shadows, texture, or more to the individual layers if you want.
