Start with any ribbon, lace, string, rope, chain of your stash. You can use a translucent or opaque ribbon, uniform or directional pattern.The element does not have to be perfectly straight either; you can even use a ricrac ribbon if you want to.
The script will give you two options to complete: you can let the script run completely on its own and use four segments as is, or you can choose to adjust some variables, like the color or brightness of each individual ribbon. Once the adjustments are to your liking, just run the script a second time to finish. This will create a seamless tile that you can use to floodfill any larger surface. Vary the scale and angle of the tile for a fun effect.
You can run the script on a ribbon (or other element) of any size. If you leave some empty space above and below the element, this space will translate into spacing between the segments in the weaving. This allows you to create a tighter or looser weave.
