Fiber Edges - PSP Script

Fiber Edges is a PaintShop Pro script that creates realistic frayed fibers around any shape or vector object. The fibers follow the exact colors found along the edges of the shape, creating a natural and organic transition between the object and its surroundings.

You can control the visible length of the fibers as well as their density, allowing you to create anything from a subtle, slightly worn edge to a more pronounced frayed effect. Because the fibers are generated with controlled randomness, every run of the script produces a unique result.

The fibers are created on a separate raster layer, giving you full flexibility to mask, erase, recolor, or adjust them independently from the original shape. This makes it easy to refine the effect, apply textures to the base shape, or keep fibers only where you want them.

This script works with PaintShop Pro 9 and newer versions and is ideal for digital scrapbooking, card making, and creative photo compositions where soft, textured edges add realism and visual interest.
