If you like the look of words or phrases placed in an even grid format, you know it can be tedious to align and size all the individual characters in your text.
This script will handle all the calculations to arrange the characters (and empty spaces) in a square format when possible. If a square format is not possible, it will arrange the characters into a rectangle that is as close to a square as possible, then give you the option to place that rectangle on top, on the bottom, or in the center, allowing you to add various elements in the extra space.
You can type a word, a phrase, a date, or anything you want. You will also choose the font for all the characters. You can have them filled or outlined only.
The end result will be left with unmerged layers and the characters will still be in vector format so you can tweak them, adjust them, even change the font for individual characters.
Once the template is done, it is up to you to replace the components with colors, patterns, papers, photos, etc. The options are endless.
