Finding a knot that you can colorize to your liking might not be easy but still feasible. But finding a double knot that you can recolor, is challenging. Now, you won't have to search for such a knot as you can create your own.
This script will use two straight ribbons of your choice, one thick and one thin, and will tie them into a knot.. The end result will be unmerged layers so you can insert elements into the knot, but all those layers will be grouped, allowing you an easy way to copy and paste it onto your project.
The thick ribbon will need to be around 200 pixels and 8 times as long as its thickness. The thin ribbon will need to be around 80 pixels and 14 times its thickness. If the thickness is different, the script will try to resize it to those dimensions. If it can, it will use them. If not, it will let you know and will stop.
