How many photos do you have to place in various scrapbook pages? How long will it take you to open, copy, paste, resize, more and replace each photo spot in layered templates that are meant to save you time?
This script will give you a fantastic headstart... on its own!
Although the script cannot tell if two photos go well together, or if a centered photo is the most logical position, it will save you a LOT of time.
This script will use all the layered templates (.psd or .pspimage format) in a single folder and place all the photos from another single folder. As a bonus, it will even save and name all the pages for you.
So how long can that take? Michele tested this script, and it she had one folder with 49 multi-photo templates and one folder with over 1400 photos (yes, you read correctly, over fourteen hundred). After the initial steps that can take about 30 seconds, she was able to leave the script do its work (maybe she went for a coffee, or even for a nap) and all those photos were placed in templates in less than 3 hours. How long do you think it would have taken to do all that manually?
