It might be easy enough to create polka dots that are identical but what if you want some variety? What if you would like to have a whole paper without any repeat pattern?
This script will create a series of random dots on a paper the size you want, with various options as far as color, size and brightness.
You can match the pattern to any color palette you want, either by creating a series of monochrome dots, by blending two colors of your palette, using specific colors of your palette or go completely random.
Add a background of your choice, add shadows, textures, bevel or any other effect. Use as a full size paper or turn it into a seamless tile. Use at 45 degree angle for an interesting effect.
You can also blur the end result for a subtle background image.
The possibilities are endless.
