Are you looking for a different way to display a name, a date, a location or a phrase? Did you ever think of using file tabs? Do you have a hard time finding the tabs of the right color or the right length for your particular project? No more! This script will allow you to create an infinite number and type of tabs. You can choose any color for the tabs, whether you want pastel or bright colors. The script will also measure the tab to perfectly match the length of the text you want to use whether it is just a date with few characters or a longer phrase. And it will allow you to use any font you have available.
But that is not all. Creating a single file tab is one thing, but the script can also create a series of matching tabs, all of the same size, no matter the length of the different words. How about that? To do that, simply edit the script to add the words you want (just follow the instructions included in the zip file). Do you think that is it? No. The script can also create the tabs on separate images to save individually, or create the series of tabs on a single image, as if they were purchased at the store and all placed side by side (and still all of the same size!).
Once the script is done, the layers will be linked per tab, so you can move one tab separately from the others. Also, the text will stay on a vector layer so you can edit it to your liking, even if you make a typo!
