Have you ever wanted to add a wave to a ribbon, a strip of paper, or another element in Affinity, only to discover that there is no Wave command? This free script fills that gap!
With the Wave script, you can turn a straight ribbon into a wavy one, add gentle curves to a strip of stitching, or create decorative edges on your papers. You can apply horizontal waves, vertical waves, or combine both for different effects.
Adjust the amplitude and wavelength to control how pronounced or how frequent the waves will be. A live preview lets you experiment with the settings and see the results before applying the effect. You can also choose how the script handles the edges of your element.
The script applies the wave to a duplicate layer and hides the original, so you can always go back to your starting element.
