Want to create plaid papers that coordinate perfectly with your photos? This script lets you turn the colors of any photograph or colorful image into unique seamless plaid patterns.
Start with your favorite photo, choose how many tiles you want (up to 25), and let the script randomly sample colors from different sections of your image. Each tile combines horizontal and vertical stripes to create a different plaid pattern, giving you a variety of designs from a single image.
The resulting 300 x 300-pixel tiles are seamless, so you can use them to create papers at any size, scale, or angle you prefer. Since the colors come directly from your photo, they are especially handy for making coordinating papers for scrapbook layouts, cards, and other digital projects.
