Felt “style” flower sampler

cass-felt-flowersSo, what do you think of this texture? As a way for you to check what they look like, I have those 4 flowers and 4 centers that you can mix and match.

They are all done with some of the felt presets that will be released tomorrow, but this is available today!

Thanks to Wetfish Designs for allowing me to convert her felt styles into PSP presets.

Let me know what you think of it and if you are a PSP user, check back tomorrow!

You need to be logged in to download this sample. You can either login, or register on the top of this page. And if you use them, I would LOVE to see how you use them.

Photoshop styles in PSP?

felt

Have you ever seen some of those awsome styles for Photoshop but could not use them because you are a PSP user?

I know i have. But i always thought that PSP could simulate those "styles", somehow. It was just a matter of time until someone would try and find out. Well, I know *I* tried. Lucky for me, I succeeded, somehow, at least with some styles.

This week, i will be releasing some "style-like presets" for PSP. This is just a sneak peak of one set. What do you think?

Keep checking as Friday should be the day of the release.

Scratched texture – PSP script

cass-scratchedGet a great variety of scratched texture looks on your images. You get to choose to have either large, medium or fine scratches, but also horizontal, vertical or crisscrossed ones. The result can vary depending on the size of the starting picture. You can work on a background image, a vector or a raster layer. You can repeat the script on multiple layers if you want.

Apply this effect onto pictures, tubes, text, anything.

Available at Creation Cassel, and all my other stores.

Check here to see different types of scratches you can create.

And remember that you can use this texture for graet grungy papers too!

New scripts – Fence and Knit texture

cass_fenceLast week, i released, on its own, the fence script that was part of my first grab bag, back in December. This script gives the user many options. You could make a 3600 pixels long fence and in the process of running the script, you can choose between 6 different woods, 4 different board shapes, 3 different cutouts in the top of the boards or no cutout, and finally, you can choose to have all the boards even on top or in a wavy pattern. That gives you a total of 192 possible fences. See what you could do with such a script.

Guyloup did a nice montage with this script.

cass_script-knitAnd how about knitting some mittens, scarves or other warm objects? With the knit texture script will give you that opportunity. In fact, every time you run the script, you will get a different pattern. The end result is a 400 x 400 pixels seamless tile,  giving you the possibility to floodfill any surface or even a whole paper. Create a grey tile and import it as a texture for future use too. This script was also part of the December Grab Bag.
