New Brushes – Halloween Punches

Halloween can be a time where you will want to create some themed elements. Cutouts can be fun and unique ways to display photos or create frames.

These punches can be used with the Eraser tool to actually cut from a paper, or a photo. However, you can also use those tips as brushes if you want to ADD colors.

I created a full-size template with a cutout on top. You can use it as a mask on your image or you can fill it as a template by locking the transparency.

This script will create a snow sculpture out of any shape you draw. Make sure it is large enough and does not have fine details (it would be hard to sculpt!). Every run of the script will yield a slightly different result because of the random feature integrated into the code.

New Script – Paper Butterflies 2

This script will create a variety of butterflies from the papers you select and each one will be slightly different. Each layer is left on separate and unmerged layers so you can tweak the size and the placement of the wings.

New Brushes – Flower Corners

In traditional paper scrapbooking, punches are available in a wide variety of shapes and designs, but in digital scrapbooking, those tools are inexistent. However, if you use the Eraser tool with these brush tips, it will do the same thing and you will get a great effect.

This set includes 10 different flower corner designs. If you use the Eraser tool, it will punch the designs, however, you can also use them simply as brush imprints for a totally different look.

In order to align the corner perfectly, use guides placed as 0 position horizontally and vertically.

For a sampler, I created this delicate frame. It is in black but you know how you can colorize or paint it to suit your project. If you don't know, follow the instructions in this tutorial. It illustrates the same technique as to paint wordarts which are typically black too.
