New script – Dated

Dated script for PaintShop Pro to add EXIF date to a photoSome cameras will automatically add a date on your photo and often, you might want to remove those dates to concentrate on the photo itself. However, in other situations, adding a date might be needed. If your camera took the photo while saving the EXIF information, this script will retrieve that date and add it on your photo. You get to choose whether you want the date on the left or the right of the photo and in which color.

Although adding this date to a single photo is possible and quite simple, the script can also add the date on all the photos in a particular folder. In one run!

Valentine Wooden Puzzle for PaintShop ProAs a sampler, I decided to play with a recent script, the Wooden Puzzle 2, to make you a Valentine theme puzzle. This is a .pspimage (so the file is fairly big) and each element is part of a group, so you can copy and paste it onto any other project, and since all the layers are unmerged, you can move the pieces around as you wish.

New script – Bow #14

Bow script for PaintShop ProWho can say they have too many bows and ribbons? Not a scrapbooker! This script will let you tie a straight ribbon into a multi-loop bow, attached with a centerpiece. Each piece is left unmerged so you can tweak them separately if needed.

The script will also add a default drop shadow on the loops but all the shadows will also be left on separate layers so you can tweak them, adjust them or even replace them altogether.

Ribbon bows in png formatFor a sampler, this week, I used a starting ribbon from Janet Scott at Pixel Scrapper and modified it slightly (to make it straighter) and ran the script for the basic bow. Then, playing with the Hue map to change the colors from the base ribbon, I created 3 additional versions to run the script again. That will give you those 4 bows to use.

New script – Rusty

Rusty texture script for PaintShop ProYou can easily use a rusty texture image to add rust to your elements or shape, but rust is not always the same, right? So you would need to have many different images to have different types of rust.

This script will randomly generate a rust texture in the yellow/orange tones that will be different for every single run of the script. So even if you are using the same starting shape, you will always get something different.

New script – Accordion

Accordion script for PaintShop ProDo you sometimes want to use an accordion fold on an image or a roadmap? It is a fun way to display an image but it can be quite tedious to complete accurately. You need to measure, cut, skew, and align each piece correctly. In addition, there is also a matter of light and dark on each piece to make them consistent with the light source.

If you want to make it faster, this script will do it all for you in a matter of seconds.

Halloween ribbons and knots in png formatSince this script is applied directly to a photo that is yours, you likely would not care for a sample from my photos. So I decided to create a few straight ribbons in Halloween colors, and run them through the Knot #13 script. You now have 3 straight ribbons and 3 matching knots to embellish your own Halloween themed projects. What will it be?
