Interested in a PSP chat?

During the iNSD activities at DigiscrapTalk, earlier in the month, we held a topic chat about Paintshop Pro. The participants all seemed to like the idea, and some people were really disappointed to have missed it. Following the suggestions received, we are planning another chat, and possibly something regular. Right now, there is not set day or time for it as we are waiting for your input. Due to the 24 time zones in the world, we sure cannot find a time when everyone would be awake. Other life activities can also affect the availability of prospective participants.

Are you interested in such a chat? Are you a PSP user? Are you a new scrapper and would like to start with PSP? Are you a veteran scrapper with another program and want to try it out with PSP too? We would welcome all participants, PSP users or not. But post in this thread at DST (or in the comments below if you prefer). Tell us when would be a good enough time for you. Tell us if you would like to discuss a specific sub-topic.

See you there!

New Script – Chipboard

cass-Chipboard

Convert any shape into a chipboard element. You can create only a border, or a full surface of chipboard. You can have some colors show through, as if your wood was stained, or even add some “burnt” designs as a signature, if you want.

What can you do with this script? Frames, tags, alpha, date elements, and many more.

If you want a chance to win this script, go over DST in the Happy Place section, here, and add your name. Remember to post also an idea of something that you could do with this script. After all, if you win it, you will use it, won’t you?

This script is available at Creation Cassel, and Do It Digi.

If you like what you download, leave me a note. If you use it in a layout, show it to me. I love to see how my products are used.

New Font – Lace edge #2

cass-LaceEdge2

Yes, another font. This one was actually requested by a customer who wanted to create cards. I hope this will suit her needs … and yours too. You know the advantages of fonts? they can be used in most graphic programs. More than that, if your program can create text on path, you can have really interesting shapes of lace. And yet, another BIG advantage: those are created as vector so you can enlarge them as you wish without loosing any detail, unlike most png laces you can find around. This font includes a total of 25 basic lace patterns, and 10 filler shapes so you can alternate like the grey sample on the preview.

You can get this font at Creation Cassel and Do It Digi.

Here is where you can have a chance to win this font; add your name to the thread AND, give me an idea of what could be done with such a font.

And if you want to see some uses of this font, check this sampler. It includes a 3600 x 3600 overlay, one layered envelope and a matching note, all using this Lace Edge #2 font.

So, what would you do with this font?

Ripped Edge papers – Free sample

cass-RippedEdge-papers

This set of two papers are yours to enjoy. The ripped edges were created using the Ripped Edge font.

You need to be logged in to download this sample. You can either login, or register on the top of this page.

If you use this paper, show me what you do. I would love to display your layout on my blog.

new font – Ripped edge

cass-RippedEdge

Create a ripped edge effortlessly. Just type all kinds of jumbled letters and this font will make it into random rips. You get two sets of “rips”: one set of rips with round holes with the uppercases, and one set with square holes with the lowercases.

Type in the length you want, play with the kerning if you want the holes to be apart more, play with the font size if you want to simulate smaller or larger holes, then turn that length into a template to cut out the paper from any sheet. It would work on a curved edge too, although, it might not be too realistic since we don’t often see a spiral binding along a curved edge, but really, why not? it is your element, and your scrap page after all!

Available at Creation Cassel and Do It Digi.

Check out this thread in the DST forum for a chance to win this font.

Needlework – sampler

cass-cross-stitch-digits Get this set of rainbow numbers done in cross-stitches for free. All done with the Needlework script.

This will be a great match with the alpha available in my store too.

You need to be logged in to download this sample. You can either login, or register on the top of this page.

new script – Needlework

cass-Needlework Did you ever liked needlework? That is something that can take a long time, but with this script, you can pretend you worked really long but actually get great results in seconds. This script will convert any image, photo, design, tube, drawing, into a piece of needlework. It could become a cross-stitch work, or half cross-stitches. Choose the size of your stitches for more or less details. Of course, tiny details, or lines (like strings on a balloon) will be lost but that is expected with stitching anyways. You can also get a cloth background for your work, either Aida or burlap cloth, and you can flood fill any surface with it, including your whole layout if you want. The needlework will match perfectly in size!

Available at Creation Cassel, Do It Digi.
