New script – Gradients Library

Gradients Library script for PaintShop Pro If you want to view your gradients, looking at the little thumbnails in the Materials Palette is not the best way. But if you want, you can now make a larger image that you can even print, to display all the gradients in a specific folder. Make sure you read the instructions because you will have to edit your script before running it.

As a sample, with summer coming, with the warmer weather, I thought you might like a set of fresh popsicles. This is made from the Wooden Puzzle 2 script, and all the pieces are grouped together, allowing you to move the whole set onto your next project. Once that is done, you can ungroup the pieces and move them around, individually.

New script – Slanted Slats

You can create slats at an angle, but it is tedious to measure all those pieces one by one.

With this script, you can complete the process in just a few seconds, and have options to set the number of slats, their angle, the gap between them, but also, you can have each piece on individual layers, have them all on a single layer, or even have them converted into a mask.

Lots of options offered with a single script.

Since this script allows you to create a mask out of the settings you chose, I did just that. I started with a large, 3000x3000 black image, and created a layered mask file. You just have to add your photo and that's it. If you find that the mask is way too large, resize it before adding the photo. You can even resize it without keeping the proportions if your photo is rectangular and you don't want it square.

New script – Layered Cake

Whether you have a birthday theme or other celebration, you might want to have a unique cake to add to your graphics project. But other than the traditional birthday cake, what do you have?

This script allows you to create a unique cake, in any shape, in any color, with infinite layering combinations.

In the end, the layers can be merged or left unmerged for you to tweak your baking even more.

I baked all day to give you this delicious multi-layered rainbow cake, complete with colorful icing.

Once I created the cake with the various layers and icing, I created one last layer of icing that I moved on the top. I added some shading and to make the icing between the layers a bit irregular, I ran the Warp Brush along the edges, which gives a more realistic look. Then, adding a small shadow gives the impression of that icing oozing out of the layers.

New script – Datestamp #7

Datestamps can be used obviously to write a date but you can be creative and add something different like a location, a greeting, or a particular event.

This script allows you the versatility to choose any text, any color and any font.

New script – Slats

Using slats on a photo is a unique way to showcase it, but it can be tedious to create manually. Furthermore, if you want to showcase a particular area of the photo without cutting it off, you can no longer use a ready-made template as it might not suit your specific image or size or preference.

This script will create slats but you will start by setting the "untouched" area and the slats will be added left/right or up/down that main selection. And you get more options for the creation of those slats. Finally, the script will also add a set of frames that you can keep or not, or customize with a different color, with additional effects, etc.

For a sampler, I created this template for you. It will help you showcase an element that would be off center. You can mirror it too, if your element is on the right.

You can change the color of the frame, add a bevel or other textures. You can add shadowing if needed.

For the background, you can simply use a solid color from your image or a pattern that matches. Or you can duplicate your photo and move that duplicate to the "background" layer and play with the opacity, the color, etc. for another unique display.

New Script – Gradient Creator

Creating a gradient might be simple but creating a specific one to replicate an effect you see on an image might be tricky.

This script will start with an open image that is either of an existing gradient or a natural gradient that you can replicate by indicating the various colors you want through a single line.

New script – Decorated Eggs 2

With Easter coming, you might want to create some holiday invitations or maybe you will want to embellish the photos you will take with the kids running around, looking for eggs.

Creating and decorating eggs, even digitally, can be tedious (at least it is not messy), but with this script, it will take only a few seconds. You can choose various options, whether you want monochrome eggs or rainbow colors. And with the random function integrated into the script, you will have different eggs every time.

Use solid colors or even gradients or patterns for unique results.

This is a second script to create decorated eggs and the designs are different than for the first script.

New script – Word Frame 4

Here is another way to display some text or a date on your photo. You can create a variety of frames with a lot of options to pick from. Add any text in any font in any color, and place it on any corner.

The script will create the frame based on the size of the photo you are using or even a blank image if you prefer as the frame will be unmerged and can be used separately.

New script – Bread #2

Summer is coming and the thought of fresh sandwiches is on everyone's mind. Although you can have a family barbecue (and use the Hamburger script), you can create slices of bread in various shapes with this script. You can choose between 4 types of bread: white, whole wheat, rye and multigrain. So there is something for everyone in the family.

In addition, you can choose to have a thick or thin slice, since everyone's preference is different.

As a sample, I created a set of slices in the shape of digits. You can use them to add a title, possibly for the photos of your annual family picnic. Each digit is in png format and quite large so you can easily size them down as needed.

New script – Extrusion

You can add dimension and perspective to any design, element, shape or text.

You choose how thick you want the extrusion and in what direction.

The top layer and the side layers are left unmerged so you can have the opportunity to tweak them separately if you want.
