New script – Adjustment Layers Group

Adjustment layers group script for Paintshop ProAdjustment layers are applied to all the layers below them, in the Layers Palette. But what if you want to adjust only one element, on one single layer? You can still do it, if you add that layer into a group that will include that specific layer you want to modify. It takes a few clicks, but with these scripts, a group will automatically be created and the adjustment layer will be inserted. Just fewer clicks than doing it manually.

This is actually a set of 13 scripts; one for each adjustment layer available. And if you are using an older version of PSP that does not have all 13, the script will let you know that your version is not compatible with that particular adjustment layer.

Oh, and it is FREE too!

Plush bear sample of the Plush texture in Paintshop ProAs a sampler for this week, obviously, I can't give you anything done with that script, since it is a tool, but since the Plush Texture script was quite popular, I decided to create a fun plush teddy bear.

I started with a bear made of vector layers and I added a plush texture to each of them, then adjusted the colors to give a bit more contrast in some areas.

The whole bear is almost 3600 pixels high so you have plenty of room to resize it to fit your project.

Remember that you can create the same kind of plush element with the Plush Texture script. It is worth the work!

New script – Brushes Library

Paintshop Pro script to generate a Brushes libraryNatively, you cannot view your brushes from Paintshop Pro when you look in Windows Explorer, so if you want to see what you have on hand, you have to go through PSP itself, and pull down the list of brushes from the Brush tool settings.

Now, with this script, you can get a visual representation that you can keep in jpg format, or print out to keep in a binder.

This script will include the name of the folder, and all the brushes inside that one folder where resides the active bruh, and will also add the name of the brushes underneath. If you need more than one page to display all the brushes, it will add as many as needed to show them all. And for the fun of it, you can choose a different color for the brushes in different folders!

Star confetti frame in png formatAs a free sample, this week, I made a fun frame using star confetti made with basic colors. The whole frame is 3600x3600 pixels so you can use a single photo on your project. If you want to use it smaller, you can add a solid color border on the edges so you would not see the cut off confetti.

New script – Confetti Maker

Confetti Maker script for Paintshop ProEvery project can use confetti, either to add a feel of freedom or to emphasize particular colors of the featured photo. But it might be hard to find the exact colors in a ready-made confetti element. This script will really create a unique set of confetti tubes, with the exact colors you want, in addition to various other settings of your choice.

After running the script, you can use and reuse the resulting picture tube as often as you want, to add a little touch of confetti, or to completely fill an area to make a backgroundd.

New script – Plush Texture

Plush Texture script for Paintshop ProPlush is often associated with soft toys from our childhood. Adding a plush texture to various shapes can convey that soft feeling to a project.

This script will turn any vector shape into a plush element with your choice of color, but you can also choose the type of plush (soft or coarse) and the length of the fibers. You can get really creative and choose a gradient or even a pattern instead of a solid color.

New script – Bow #13

Bow script for Paintshop ProBows, bows, and more bows. This definitely not the first bow script, and it likely won't be the last either. Various projects seem to require a different type of bow. Sometimes you want it super simple, sometimes you want it flat, sometimes you want it loopy, and sometimes, you want it with multiple loops. This is what the newest script offers you.

Starting with a straight ribbon, the script will create a bow with 8 loops (yeah, that took a while to code!) and will even add a little brad in the center based on the colors of your starting ribbon. Keep it or replace it with something more appropriate for your project or the theme. Use this bow as is or as the base for a cluster.

Get this script in the store: Bow #13

In order to win this script, add a comment on this Facebook post telling us if you prefer simple bows with only two loops, or bows with multiple loops (remember, add a comment, not just a Like!) Sample bow in .pspimage formatFor a sample, I created a simple lace ribbon and ran it through the script. I then converted both the ribbon and the bow into a greyscale which gives you a fairly white result. Since they are monochrome, you can always colorize them to match your project, or keep it as is and just add a colored center.

The bow is in .pspimage format, with the bow and the center on separate layers. The ribbon is also included so you can use it on other projects.

New script – Custom Kit Ribbons

Custom kit ribbons script for Paintshop ProWhenever you are creating a kit or a layout, you might want to include or use some matching ribbons. Unfortunately, not all kits have them. If you are creating your own kits, then you will want to add such matching ribbons, but in the end, you tend to use the same type of ribbons, while you would prefer some variety.

You can use the Ribbon Factory script to create ribbons based on the color palette, but if you want to match some patterns used in the papers, you will need this script.

You can generate up to 50 ribbons per run, and although you pick the thickness of the ribbons and the papers to use as a base, the rest will be randomly decided by the script, so you will get a bunch of different ribbons. Keep the ones you like, discard the others.

Ribbons in png formatAs a sample, I am including 12 of the many ribbons that were generated in making the preview for the script. Using 6 papers from a kit from Janet Scott. You can find that paper kit HERE.

Each ribbon is 3600 pixels long and obviously match those papers.
