New script – Watercolor

Watercolor effect script for PaintShop Pro Watercolor can be a great way to showcase a landscape, a location or anything else, but like any tangible medium, it could be messy.

With this script, you will be able to turn any photo into a watercolor masterpiece and showcase some areas of your image while creating a unique edge of brush strokes. This is perfect to eliminate some sections of your photos without having to cut them out.

As a sample, I created a simple page that uses the same mask as on the main preview. Of course, you would have to add the watercolor effect on the image to get the colors you want but this mask will give that look on the edges without any work.

New script – Paper Pattern 2

Some designs might be quite tedious to create, and even more challenging when you want some variety, in thickness and colors.

This script will create a unique pattern based on scallops, using the color palette of your choice. You will end up with seamless tiles without any background so you can whatever color, gradient or pattern you want.

As a sampler, I used a simple color palette of pinks and blues, I chose 8 tiles that you can use for your own papers. Add a similar color as a background and it will make some "lines" disappear, creating a completely different look. Have fun with these tiles in PNG format.

New Picture Tubes – Lit Lights

You can now decorate any element or even any photo with these lit lights picture tubes. You can embellish wreaths, trees, tags, but you can also add those to a photo of a house. Make it a night scene and those lights will really pop.

You get 8 sets of monochrome lights, and 4 sets with either two or six colors, placed alternately.

Place them manually, by simply hand drawing or use a script to place them precisely along a vector path.

For a sample, today, I created these large digits from the Spruce picture tubes and added some rainbow lights. Each digit is quite large, which allows you to resize them to suit your need.

New script – Impasto

This script will add a fun texture to any shape or design, in addition to modifying the edges to give a smooth or rough border.

There are six different textures that will randomly be used, along with other settings yielding a different result for every run.

New script – Pie Crust

This time around, being the holiday season, it is a great time to do some cooking and baking. And this script will be just what you need to add a special touch to your projects. You can turn any vector shape into a delicious pie.

There are 6 fillings included in the download, and 5 types of top crust.

You can create your pie using any shape you want, even if it is a digit or a letter to emphasize a particular event.

For a freebie, I created a set of 10 pies in the shape of digits. I used a very fat font but also had to tweak a lot of details to avoid sharp corners, and small details, which would not have rendered well in the final pies. You have 5 varieties in all. Each pie is about 1000 pixels so you can resize them as needed.

New script – Christmas Ornaments 3

This is the third in a series of Christmas ornaments that you can run to generate elements that will be perfectly matching your project, your photos, or your color palette.

This script will generate up to 20 ornaments in an oblong shape. The patterns on the elements are different from the previous scripts in the series.

Each ornament will be about 1000 pixels high. The top of the ornament will use one of the colors you have selected for the designs, so it will always match.

New script – Christmas Stocking

Christmas is coming, and so are the various decorations, trees, and the traditional stockings to hang by the fireplace (or wherever you can hang it!).

This script will create a custom stocking made of strips of papers. Choose those papers from a color palette, or actual full-size scrapbook papers.

You will get the choice for the color of the heel and toes and the fur on top of the stocking.

For a sampler, I created this single stocking using felt patterns in the colors of the holidays. The whole stocking is 3600 pixels high so you can resize it as needed. It is also big enough to fit a few goodies inside (or behind). Angle it a bit to make it hang by the corner.

New script – Wooden Puzzle 3

You can now turn any clipart, design or vector element into a fun wooden puzzle or a flat marquetry project.

You can create a wooden puzzle and move pieces around, or have a flat wooden project.

You can add a background or not. The script will use a dozen different wood textures that will be used based on the brightness of each section of your design.

New script – Shaped Text

Shaping text can be a tedious task using the current tools of PaintShop Pro because most of the time, you have to use the Warp Mesh tool and this means a lot of nodes to tweak to get a single shape.

This script includes options for 30 different "envelopes" to shape your text. This will be perfect for titles or wordart.

New script – Diamond Slats

Diamond shapes will convey an impression of dynamism so using diamond-shaped slats to showcase your photos will give them a new angle.

With this script, you can focus the main diamond wherever you want on your photo and then, with various options, it will add slats on the left or the right or both sides. And with the choice of colors for the outline, you will have a custom result. And even more, you can tweak the unmerged layers for more special effects.
