Frame it... again!

IDid you see the first Word Frame script? It was making rectangular frames with your choice of text and many options. This one will do the same, but in a round (or elliptical) shape. Again, you get many options to choose from: the line thickness, the line style, where you want the text, the font used, the color. You can get text on two opposite sides, even using different fonts if you want.

Again, this frame will be created on a separate layer so you can use it independantly. Did you ever think of using such a frame to put journalling in?

You can get this script here.

Do you want a chance to win this script? Go over to the DST forum, in the Happy Place thread and add your name here.

And if you want some round word frames, I have a set on my blog. It is a set of 7 frames, one for each day of the week. These would be perfect for any Project 365 layout, but also for any day layout too. Go over there and download them, they are free. And please, if you use them, show me what you did. I love to see my products "in action". All the frames were made using the Round Word Frame script.

Not sure if you tried to register in the classroom, but we had a technical problem just when class opened. But now, it is fixed. DigiScrap Campus forum is open and everyone is welcome to join and hang out.The first class is 3 units of 4 lessons each. It is mostly aimed for new scrappers and new-to-PSP scrappers. All the classes are in video format and are self-study (so you can start when you want, and take as long as you want). The classes are available for purchase at DID and we have a promotion for the first 3 students to register. Using the code DSC1st3Win at the checkout, will give you 40% off if you are one of the first 3 students. And if you have not yet installed PSP, I would recommend that you get the free lesson on how to install and configure your PSP. You can get it here.

Come at the campus to hang out in our Java Joe's lounge and it is free to join our Recreation Center where we have our first Challenge posted.

If you don't have PSP and would like to acquire it, I can tell you that version X2 is very inexpensive to get on ebay since version X3 came out (I found several entries to BUY it for $20). What is there to loose??? and then you can use all my scripts!

Now, some news about our ADSR5 participation. The challenge #7 was about our "bucket list". Here are the 2 Layouts we made.Since the text is pretty small, you can read it in large format by clicking on the images.

And the challenge #8 required us to use the word SOMEDAY, with other requirements.

All the layouts are available on my blog. Go over there and leave some comments. You will also see Diosa's layouts and if you want to leave comments for her, check out her blog.

PSP users: Tip of the week - Crop your pictures quickly

You probably know how to use the crop function, and possibly the crop tool. Maybe you tend to use standard sizes in pictures or other and cropping does not seem like such an easy task to get something precise. Using the custom selection tool? it would work but you would then have to calculate how many pixels you want each side to be. There IS a quicker way. Use the crop tool, crop just a section (does not matter the size), and then find a preset for standard sizes. You will then see that "cropping frame" set to the correct size and you can move it wherever you want on your picture to focus on the important part. PSP has several presets available from the most common ones (like 4x6, 5x7, 8x10). And if those standards are not that convenient for YOUR use, you can create a custom preset too and then, it will be there next time you need it. Neat huh?
