With this script, you can cheat a little and create a cutout effect without actually cutting out the background layer. It will look like the edges are slightly curled up.
Even better, all the effect is left on a single layer so you can actually move your "cutout" anywhere, without be limited to where you initially started it.
The script will work exclusively on a copy of the active layer so you can run it in the middle of a project if you want.
You will get better result if you place the cutout shape on a not-so-busy background.
Compatible with PSP 9 and up.
