In addition, trying to avoid overlaps is an added difficulty.

This script will take a single brush tip of your choice and cover any surface with it, in a random manner. You won't see any repeat and very little overlap. This will be perfect for backgrounds.

Scattered background design for summer and winterFor a sample of this script, I am sharing two full-size papers: one for your winter projects and one for summer. For the winter paper, I manually added the white pompoms while I locked the transparency on the layer. It is a little tedious but the result is worth it. For the summer paper, I used a dolphin brush in blues and added a few starfish afterward. Both papers are available with a background (in jpg format) and without (in png format).

The post New script – Scattered Elements first appeared on Creation Cassel.]]> Scatter elements with a script for PaintShop ProSometimes, designers would like to create a set of scattered elements as embellishment and although it is easy to do, it can also be quite tedious depending on the number of copies they want.

This script was inspired by a request from Mimi who likely wanted to create such scatters and wanted to save time. And this is exactly what this script will do as it will copy and multiply an element from the active layer as many times as you want, adding some rotation, and resizing to each individual element. And you can repeat the process with up to 3 different elements.

As a sample, I ran the script on three star shapes. I added the bevel and the shadows after the script so that everything would be angled correctly and have consistent lighting. The whole scatter is 2000 pixels wide and does include shadows, so that layered elements could be shadowed correctly.
