Start with any ribbons, laces, strings, ropes, chains of your stash or any combination of them. The elements can be any size or thickness, even if they are of different thicknesses.
The script will give you two options to complete: You can place similar segments parallel to each other or crisscrossing. You can also adjust some variables, like the color or brightness of each individual ribbon. Once the adjustments are to your liking, just run the script again to finish. This will create a seamless tile that you can use to flood fill any larger surface. Vary the scale and angle of the tile for a fun effect.
You can run the script on ribbons (or other elements) of any size. If you leave some empty space above and below the elements, this space will translate into the spacing between the segments in the weaving. This allows you to create a tighter or looser weave.
