Create a knot starting with any of your ribbons, or let the script generate one 4000 pixels long ribbon using your choice of color, gradient or patatern. If you want to use your own ribbon, it has to be at least 75 x 500 pixels. If you provide a 2000 pixels long ribbon, the script will use the whole lenght, and align the segments to look like there is a continuous ribbon in the knot. This means that you can use a ribbon with a directional pattern and it will look like it follows the normal path of a ribbon in such a knot. You can use a regular ribbon, a scallopped ribbon, a translucent ribbon, a lace, etc.
The end result will be a set of unmerged layers. This allows you to add more specific shadows, or to attach your knot to another element by inserting it through the loop. The layers will be grouped at the end which will also allow you to rotate the whole knot without affecting the alignment of each segments. Read the included instructions for better results.
The final result is about 800 pixels long
This script has been tested with versions 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Another added bonus: the script will have several messages to help you through the process and if you run a French version of PSP, the script will detect it and show all the messages also in French.
