My stores
51% off this weekend
16th November 2008
There was a 40% sale this weekend at Studio Style Design, and an extra 11% has been added so, it means a totla of 51% off everything in the store, including, of course, all my scripts. You better hurry as it is only good this weekend, and it is getting near the end of the weekend!
But to get this deal, you have to use this coupon: crazy11
So, hurry at Studio Style Design for a good deal!
There is a sale this weekend at Scrapping Whisper and all my products are 30% off, so what are you waiting for? This also includes my new scripts that i just uploaded yesterday! and you can also check out other designers’ stores and products.
I just released a new script at Do It Digi. With this script, you can curve any photo, any size, any orientation, even any shape. And unlike using a template, your photo will REALLY get bent. For example, if you have a horizontal line on the photo, it will end upt being curved. Interesting, right?
The regular price is $5 but for the first weekend after release, it is 25% off so you can get it for $3.75 only at Do It Digi.
See what Guyloup did, using this script. Isn`t that cute??
Maybe you are not a PSP user and would like to have something like that? I can only offer you a template made with this script. Of course, it will not curve the photo, but that is the best we can do without running the script.
And in the zip file you will also find a coupon code for $1 off the purchase of the script (valid for a limited time only).
I just uploaded my Bar code script to Scraphead, Scrapping Whispers and Divine Digital. You can make neat little labels with basically anything you want on them. You can incorporate a name, a place, an attribute, a date, a number, or even a short phrase. That is a great way to add small details on our layout. Even though, normally, you will see real barcode labels in black and white, the script will also give you the option of making a more modern, non-traditional colored barcode label.
So, in order to show you what they look like, i created a little sampler for you to use as you wish (personal use only). If you like them, show me what you did with them. And if you use PSP, you might want to buy the script!
Last weekend, I went to spend a few days in Fredericton for work. I was lucky that, despite the meetings being mostly business related, I had been asked to do a lunch hour presentation on Digital Scrapbooking. WOW!!! How fun! Unfortunately, the setup was less than ideal as i thought i would have a booth and people would be seeing it while passing by, but it turned out that i was set up in a separate room so only people who purposefully wanted to attend, did. There was no way to just “catch their attention” along the way. That was a bit disappointing, but at least, the few who did attend were very enthousiastic about it. Also the president of our professional association also attended, and might even look into using digital scrapbooking in future association business.
It was also a weekend i was able to spend with my daughter who does reside in Fredericton, while attending university. On Friday, i went geocaching on the University grounds with her and her boyfriend. I sure will have to scrap the photos taken during that adventure so keep an eye open for that.
A first Grab Bag
9th November 2008
I was never too enthousiastic about grab bags until Cindy Ritter told me about her experience. Then, seeing that we were both writing scripts and both selling a the same store, she convinced me to do a collaborative grab bag with her. And that is what started this very first Grab Bag for me.
If you like scripts, you will have a treat. If you use PSP 9 or over, you can use all the scripts in this bag. For the price of ONLY $6, you get 6 scripts (3 from Cindy, and 3 from me). That means only $1 per script. That is almost a steal! Three scripts are specifically themed for the holiday, and three are for general use.
Since it is a grab bag, i am not supposed to tell you everything that is in there, but i can give you some hint, can`t I? Well, just have a look at the preview and i can tell you that EVERYTHING in the preview is made with the scripts. And i mean EVERYTHING. Does that give you some ideas?
Well, i guess i can also tell you that this bag is revealed… somewhere else.
This bag will only be available at that price for a couple of weeks. After that, the individual elements will be sold, BUT, not immediately after. You will have to wait quite a while before they are released individually, so you better take advantage of this offer right now! Trust me!
Free Sample of buttons
8th November 2008
Did you see my button maker script, released last week at Do It Digi? Did you want to get it but you are not a PSP user? Well, guess what? I have a sampler for you to download FREE. You can see what they are like. This sampler includes 3 greyscale buttons, made with the button script. What do you have to loose?
And yes, there is a surprise in the zip file; a surprise for PSP users OR non-PSP users. So, check it out.
Hint: the surprise is a coupon!
Did you see my script released last week? Are you using other software than PSP so you cannot use it? You are in luck as I now offer a total of 64 buttons in greyscale for you. Sixty-four buttons, that is what can be done with the script. You can colorise them as you want. Do you ever have enough buttons? With all these, no more worry about finding yet a different button for the job. FOUR shapes, EIGHT designs, two or four holes. So ALL the buttons are different.
Get them here.
New store – Divine Digital
2nd November 2008
Last July, i was approached by Lynn, at Divine Digital, about joining that store. Apparently, they were interested in having my scripts in their store. Well, at first, i plitely declined, simply because i thought it would be too hard to manage several stores. However, after meeting Cindy Ritter, who was a designer at Divine Digital, she finally convinced me that it would not be so hard, and that it might help to get known since there was usually a lot of traffic there. So, as I still consider myself a newbie (i have been a designer for less than a year), i accepted their invitation. So, now, you can see most of my PSP scripts at Divine Digital. I still have a few more to add as i am taking this opportunity to redo many of my previews. So come on and browse around. And tell me what you like.
Also, if you suggest a script that i end up writing, you will get to test it and KEEP it for free. So, share those ideas! You can share them right in here!
Being the first of the month, I posted two new challenges at Scraphead.
The first challenge is called One Two Three Scrap. You are asked to create a page using, this month, ONE paperclip, TWO circles and THREE buttons. Any page with these requirements is ok. So create a page, post it in the Scraphead gallery, then give us the link in the forum, here.
The other challenge is called What will you do with that? Very simply, i give an element and you have to find a way to incorporate it into a layout. This month, i give you a small stamp sheet, in PSD format (with two layers). It is up to you to replace the center parts with either one photo or more than one, add text, or dates, and also change the background color so it matches you layout. Again, place your page in our gallery and post us the link in the forum, here.
Grab this sample, even if you dont do the challenge. It might also give you an idea of what my stamp script can do too as it was made with it.
