My first award

30th October 2008

Well i had seen awards on some blogs, but never really  had a clue what they were from. And today, i find out i got one!!! Yes, i got an award from Angelfaye, a fellow designer at Do It Digi. This is really a FIRST for me! Yayyyy!

If i understand well, i have to say name 7 things i love, so here is my list:

  • I LOVE chocolate (perfect time to buy some Halloween treats for myself)
  • I love my husband
  • I love my Paintshop Pro (I experience withdrawal symptoms when i can’t use it)
  • I love sweets (other than cholocate)
  • I love my kids (three teens: Michelle, Sébastien and Gabriel)
  • I love my two cats
  • I love making PSP scripts (it is so nice to make scripts that are not even made into PS actions!)

So now, i have to give it to 7 other blogs. I guess i might have to go and search for links. I’ll be back in a bit.

I hope you like surprises because a lot of them will come in the next days. The whole world will be looking everywhere. Yeah, Aussies, Americans, Canadian, German, Spanish. No exception.

Ready?

Set?

You will still have to wait, but believe me, it is well worth the wait! The adventure will soon begin.

Folded photo scripts

26th October 2008

Do you like the look of folded photos? These two scripts will allow you to fold any image or photo either in two or in four. Maybe you are the kind of person who likes neat folds? You can get just that. The script can fold perfectly centered, either horizontally or vertically, as you choose. But maybe you want a bit of a wilder look, grungy maybe? Or maybe you want to simulate a careless folding? This is also possible as the script can generate a random rotation and placement of the folds. Run the script 10 times and you will get 10 different folds.

There are two scripts: one for single fold, and one for double fold. Only one is displayed here.

Here is a page made by Guyloup, using both scripts:

Those two scripts have just been uploaded to Scrapping Whispers and Scraphead.

Did you miss your chance of buying my scripts at 70% or 60% off, Friday and Saturday? You can still hurry and get them at 50% today, until midnight. If you have to wait till tomorrow, well, it will still be 40% off. Not bad after all.

Check out my scripts at Scraphead.

Progressive sale at Scraphead

24th October 2008

Starting today, there is a HUGE sale at Scraphead. It is a progressive sale, but the best deals are earlier. Today, it was 70% off EVERYTHING in the store, tomorrow it will be 60%. That is still a pretty good price! So if you wanted to try out some of my scripts, it is a great opportunity to do so without feeling guilty about spending $5 on a single script. In fact, with $5 you will be able to get THREE scripts of mine.

Isn`t that a good deal!? But hurry because the savings will dwindle with each day that passes.

This week, the newest script in my collection will let you create a 14 inches long twill tape. As usual, with my scripts, you get to choose the color for your ribbon. You can choose a gradient or a pattern, but i think that a solid color will usually  give a better result. You dont have to limit yourself to a traditional white or off white color, but go wild and use more vibrant colors. After all, you want to coordinate with something else. Of course, those neutral colors can still be very useful, but think outside the box and try other colors.

The script will be on sale at Do It Digi for $3.75 until Sunday night, so hurry!

New challenges at DID

20th October 2008

Three new challenges are available at DID forum.

Bits & Pieces:

Do you play cards with friends? Do you make castles with playing cards? Do you play any other game using cards? Or maybe you collect cards of all kinds? Do you have a photo of that? Show it to us. It is this week’s challenge. You dont have to make a page about the cards, as long as one card (or more) is showing.

Shape:

How would you use octogons in our pages? One element that is seen everywhere and has that shape is a stop sign. Do you want to put a stop to something (or someone)? You can also use that shape for a background, a frame, etc.

Random:

Here are the criterias for this challenge:

  • Title: in white only
  • Background: grungy edges
  • Embellishments/Accents: only made of papers and paper cutouts

So, what are you waiting for? you surely have some photos to scrap or some kits to try out? You have two whole weeks to do that and show us the layouts. Post them in the DID gallery and give us the link. You will earn some valuable DID points toward products in the shop.

Did you ever dream of being famous enough to see your face printed on a stamp? Or maybe you want to commemorate a specific event? Well, you can do just that with this script. And not only one stamp, but a whole sheet of stamps too! You can have a sheet of 4, or a sheet of 64, and just about anything in between. What do you think of that idea? If you like the idea, you can check out any of my stores as it is available at Creation Cassel.

See what Guyloup has made with that script. Isn`t that neat? And after you have a whole sheet of stamps, you can cut out a number of them and create a very original presentation.
