February Promotion – Paintshop Pro to win

It is time! I promised you all the details of this promotion TODAY. Were you stalking my blog? Ok so here are the details.

The promotion will last the whole month of February (it is only 28 days so the suspense will be shorter!). You will have THREE ways to enter your name into the draw. Yes, it will be a random draw because i personally do not like judged contest, and i want everyone to have the same chance, whether you are a beginner, or an experienced scrapper/designer. No favorite. Everyone is even.

FIRST WAY to enter: simply comment on this post that you want to enter the contest. Not too hard is it? So, by simply adding your name as a comment, you have ONE entry.

SECOND WAY to enter: this will require a tiny bit more work (but it wont be hard). Just browse in my store, and tell me, in a comment, what product of mine you find the most unique, original or useful. You can name only ONE (i know, that is the hardest part!). You simply post it in a comment to this post (you can put it in the same comment as your previous entry if you want, and i will count them separately).

THIRD WAY to enter: ok, this one will make you work, and that is why you have the whole month of February. I want you to make a layout or a montage using at least ONE of my products. It CAN be a product from the store, but it can also be one of the freebies from this blog. That means, you do not have to be a PSP user to participate. See? i am thinking of everyone here: PSP users, PS users, PSE users, GIMP users, etc. I know, some of you might have more than one of my products (from the store or the samplers), but you can enter only ONCE in this manner. You post the link to your layout, as it could be anywhere, on your blog, in a gallery, or even in MY gallery if you want (here).

Remember, no matter how many comments you make, how many products you name, or how many layout you show, you have a maximum of THREE possible entries (you wont get disqualified for showing more though!).

Now, what is there to win?

PSPX3   set4-small

There will be three prizes.

First prize: one full copy of Paintshop Photo Pro X3 (given to me by Corel!) and a full access to the PSP course i put up, including 36 video tutorials for scrappers, beginning designers or beginner PSP users. That is a value of $150 total.

Second prize: full access to the PSP course. Value of $50

Third prize: $15 GC to my store (and i have more than just PSP products!)

So, as you can see, it is a fun contest for PSP users who might want to get the latest version of PSP, or non-PSP users wanting to give it a try, but for more than the 30 day trial period allowed. What do you think? I am waiting for your entries through the comments on this post! So, is it worth it?

Let’s begin!

I am waiting for your comments!!!

  1. Hi Cassel!!
What a FABULOUS contest!! Thanks so much for the chance to win such awesome prizes!
The product I love most at the moment – and I stress at the moment because I love more than one and I have to pick ONE – is the kit preview maker script. It saves SO much time and gives so many options!!!

Will be back with a LO. πŸ™‚

    xoxoxo

  2. WOW! Neat contest, Cassel!
first, I am thrilled I am able to access your blog at this time of my day
Yes, enter me into the contest, please.
As for my favorite…there are several. I am going to go with the one that makes the big collage of photos- such as the heart. [but I also love the squiggley outlined letters, the fan photos, and the zipper thingy.]
I will be back with my LO using one of your products.

  3. Well of course I want to enter!!!
    So yes please, enter me!

Secondly, I love all of your scripts and I would find it hard to pick just one, but there is one that I find extremely useful and use every single day, and that is your Stray Pixel Catcher Script. Not only does it give me peace of mind checking for strays but it also trims all the excess space from around my elements so it’s invaluable to me.

  4. wow Cassel, what an amazing contest and prizes. Thank you so much for the chance to play along. It was really hard picking only one favorite item from your store but I think I’d have to go with your Lace #1 script. I’m so glad to see that you have more than PSP products since I use PSE πŸ™‚

  5. oooh, the wait is over! πŸ˜€ I’m very excited about the contest. I’m looking forward to seeing all the entries! You have so many cool thing for people to try, it’s bound to be interesting! πŸ˜‰

I’m so torn about the best products, but since I’ve oooohed and aaaaahed over the fonts and no one has mentioned them yet, I’ll have to say how much I really like the fonts, especially the stitches fonts. When I was such a noob and wanted stitches on EVERYTHING and didn’t have any in my stash, I think I would have thought I’d made it to stitchin’ heaven when I found these. lol As it is, I still think they’re really cool. πŸ˜‰

    Thanks again!

  6. Hi Cassel,

Yes, I want to enter! PSP X3 – how’d ya pull that off? LOL! (I know you are a big wig with Corel now, right?)

Hopefully I’ll see you at 3:00 today on tubes – of which I have zero, so it should be interesting!

  7. Hi again, I didn’t read down far enough on your blog post to #2. It’s not very exciting, but shadow placer is my favorite because I’m lazy and hate repetitive tasks.

  8. 1. Enter me please πŸ™‚

    2. Cassel – I use so many of your scripts as tools…I use the stray pixel catcher every time I use PSP, your element seperator every time I make an alpha…the chipboard script you made for me is used in every kit (in so many ways, that you don’t even know its the chipboard script!), the Squiggels script is invaluable… your confetti tube maker is invaluable….I could go on and on….lately I’ve been using your airbrush script, which is FANTASTIC! I’ll be back with a LO.

    Vielen Dank dafΓΌr.
    Ganz herzliche GrΓΌsse
    SilviaB

  10. One of my favorites is the Word edge cutout – PSP script. When you play with it you can make amazing layout. I have bouth a lot of your scripts and I like the way it is made, so easy to follow.

    Thanks

    Nicole

  11. I would like to be entered into the contest. My very favorite script of your is the Kit Previews Maker. I got this as I was learning to design and I absolutely love it and what a time saver and took the stress out of the previews. Love it. Katherine

  12. Hi Cassel,

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to enter your fabulous contest. I love your products but most especially your scripts. Crossing my fingers for a win … I’m not picky, 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize would be great πŸ™‚

  13. I absolutely adore your template maker script. A great time-saver. Also love the shadow placer script. I have so many of your scripts it’s hard for me to decide. They are all fabulous!!

    Thanks πŸ™‚

  14. My absolute favorite product of yours is the Kit Previews Maker – PSP script
    http://creationcassel.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_10&products_id=151

This script is absolutely awesome, and one that’s been on the top of my wish list since I saw it, I’m just having a hard time saving for it right now, lol.
I love it because it works on both mini and mega kits, and saves so much time, as well as giving you choice with the papers, elements and up to 5 previews, awesome script one I’d love to have.
    Thanks for the chance

  15. Picking my favorite script – well I have more than one, but I think all PSP users whether they are a designer, scrapper, hobbist, etc. should have your Directional Tuber Script.

Thanks for another chance to be entered in your contest.

  16. 1. I would like to be entered in your contest please.

    2. I think my favorite product from your store is your decorative stitches, I bought them as fonts but will probably end up picking them up (well one of the other sets of them) as brushes as they are so useful for adding little details to things

  17. Hi Doris
great contest I would love to enter it.
Awesome prizes and I would love to win any of them.
The product I like the best of yours (it was a tuff call)
is the credit list compilation. I love it because I always forget
to add or write down who’s things I am using and then I have
to go back and find them and look at the TOU’s.
I have also upload a layout to your gallery.

thanks for the chance to win one of these awsome prizes.

  18. Hi Cassel – loved the Tube chat on Sunday – sorry I haven’t written sooner but I’m having way too much fun stocking up on more of your amazing scripts. I didn’t read all your contest rules and really don’t need to be included in the drawings as I’m pretty well up-to-date – in everything but time!

You already know I’m a staunch admirer of yours – ever since I purchased my first script of yours – the Stray Pixel Finder – an absolute MUST-Have for any embellishment creators wanting to provide a superior product – even if they only create freebies – like me.

I needed bubbles for a challenge LO I created for Moo Two Designs (one of their newer administrators, Vanessa Fellowes of Scrapz’n Bitz Designs, originally sent me your way for the Stray Pixel Finder). The thought of how I wanted to create my bubbles was daunting . . . until I created one and applied it to your versatile Confetti Script! I was so thrilled with the result that I already wrote a blog entry in your honor yesterday. Here’s the link
    http://travlyn.blogspot.com/2011/02/kudos-to-creation-cassel-or-its-all.html.
Thank you for EVERYTHING you do . . . now I just need a few more hours in my day to play!!!

    Hugs, Vicki (TravlynWomyn)

  19. *jumps up from behind the large crowd waving hand in the air*

ooh me, me, me! pick me… my copy of PSP has died a death on my little netbook, using a demo of X3 and going to have to pay lots of money *sad face*

Excellent contest, glad to see the relationship blooming with your new best friends at Corel πŸ˜‰

  20. Wonderful contest, Cassel! Darn, I so need a downloadable PSP course since I haven’t gotten beyond photo editing basics and as a beginning scrapbooker would love to make use of your scripts, etc.

Thank you for your freebies as well as this opportunity.

  21. Wow, what an amazing contest! I’d really like to enter, please, my old version 9 is what’s keeping me dragging my feet from doing the upgrade to Windows 7–I don’t care how well my computer runs if I don’t have my psp to use, omg, they’d have to send the men in the white suits for me! I’ve heard amazing things about version X3 so I’m gonna go dl the trial & check it out & drool & dream–how wonderful is it, that Corel has sponsored this? Kudos to them for using their advertising budget for good instead of evil!!!

Since I’ve already written you a book, I’ll go ahead & tell you that my favorite script is still the confetti script, I just keep finding new ways to use it & it never disappoints me, the results are always perfect. As I keep telling everyone I know, it’s a designer tool Must Have!

    • Sarah, just for your information, I do run all the PSP versions, 8 to X3 and i have Windows7 on my computer so it does work fine. I was also considering purchasing a second hand computer instead of a brand new one, if my PSP9 had not worked with it!

  22. I honestly don’t know why I dither over anything–I should just come bother you first because you always share the answer. Good thing this is a random contest, pmsl, cuz it sure looks like I’m sucking up–but the honest truth is that all of your stuff does 100 percent of what you say it will, but it always goes beyond that, too, the versatility is what really makes your scripts so special. Your attention to detail is incomparable.

  23. I definitely would like to be entered to win the PSPX3 and I find the stray pixel script very interesting indeed. I really do not know a lot about script but I know people that could help me with it. As for the third entry, I am not quite sure what you are asking for? You are asking for a website layout or a creative tag that we would upload to you site? I am not sure what it is you want, I am still in the learning process with psp and I use PSPX2.

I am going to talk to my friend to get some help with the script and when she promises to help me, I am going to get the stray pixel catcher. So if you are tubing it will catch the strays on that?

Thank you for the two entries. If I find out exactly what you are wanting on the 3rd I may be able to get a third entry, hopefully.

    Hugs, Sandi

    • Glad to see you enter the contest Sandi. If you want to know more about scripts, i have two articles on this blog in January explaining them. For the third entry, you simply have to create SOMETHING with one of my products (be it from the store, or a freebie from the blog), and post it somewhere, anywhere (could be your blog or any gallery) and give us the link so we can go see it.
      Good luck

    • Have a look at my store to get your second entry for this contest, and if you can make a layout with ANY of my products (even the free ones on this blog), you can enter for a third time.

  24. Hi Cassel! wonderful contest, please enter me *smile* As for your products, I have to pick a favorite, oh my, well, I love the custom button script, I really love that one!!! I love em all but so far that one is my fave. I am joining this late in the month, but I do have a layout that I made for a challenge and it is actually my very first scrapbook page ever πŸ˜› – here is the link: Spring Green

    Thanks!

  25. I am so excited that I found your site…looking forward to learning about digital scrapbooking. I am obsessed with pictures, have been for my whole life, but avoided scrapbooking because of the expense (I’m a HUGE crafter–do tole painting, knitting/crocheting, beading, etc.–but when the scrapbooking craze started, I had to put my foot down…can’t afford to do it all, right?) but I decided when I received a new nikon this past Christmas that I could do it digitally!! And now I have found you to teach me everything I need to know:) I received the CPSP Ultimate for my birthday…but I wouldn’t mind winning so that I can give a copy to this teenage girl who is almost as in love with photography as I am!!

    • Glad you entered the contest Tami. Now, for a second entry, visit my store and tell me what you think is the best, or most original product. And if you can find some time to make a tiny layout before next week, you can give it a try with any of my products (freebies included) and share a link where you post it. That would be your third entry! Good luck.

  26. hello dear cassel

i dont know what to do but I can tell you that your scripts the newest is the rubber script and more(!) are so wonderful, I’m still learning from your stuff so i’m very happy with you:))

    sorry for my englisch writing:(((

    love lisa

  27. Well, Cassel, I finally remembered to get in this contest. Without going through your store, I can tell you that the scripts I use most are 1) the preview maker. It saves a ton of work. 2) The shadow script, which also saves a ton of work, and 3) the swatch maker ’cause now I don’t have to look up all those RGB codes for each color. And that saves a ton of work.

  28. I absolutely love your scripts and have several. I think that your most unusual script and one that I use often is your shadow placer script. It is wonderful! I couldn’t do my previews without it.
