Larger rally was planned for the arrival of the Olympic Torch in Bathurst, NB, but the weather didn`t cooperate. We came to the location where various activities were expected starting at 3pm, but it was raining, they didn’t set up the outside tent as planned, and so on. We decided to go back home until later, when the actual torch was supposed to arrive (7pm).

The show and some activities were moved inside the arena (for those that were not cancelled). Some nice booths were set up for taking pictures, so here is Bob pretending to do bobsleigh.

Still working on the bathroom. Now, it is getting close to the finish line. Today, we placed the grout between the tiles. Since we never had done that, we were a bit worried to mess up, but it turned out pretty good i think. The overall look is really nice. Dont you think?

Coming back from work around 5 PM, there is not much to photograph than sunsets, but luckily, some of them are worth stopping by.

Yup, packing more and more boxes for the H1N1 vaccination clinics. Here i am preparing 8 boxes in series. This will only be a bit less than half of what will be needed for ONE DAY of vaccination!

Misty day, no wind. Nice time for a picture, but this time, i just decided to turn the monochrome picture into a black and white photo. Same place as the previous photo, but this time, taken from the top of the bridge.

Photo taken from under the bridge. There is a huge log that i wanted to take a picture of. It has been there since last winter and is so big that the current won’t move it. I guess it got stuck on a little sand dune. With the calm water, i wanted to take that mirror picture. Maybe i should have gone on top of the bridge, but by the time i would have walked over there, the lighting was not good anymore as the sun was setting. Believe it or not, i didn`t do anything to those colors. It amazes me too!

My youngest son is helping me install a new video card. Although the installation was effortless, there was a disagreement between the new card and the one that was integrated with the motherboard and that was not completely deactivated (i don’t know why it was not). That caused a very weird display on my monitor and we needed to work for hours to figure out a way to recover a working display, and finally deactivate COMPLETELY the previous video card. I have to see how i can now record video tutorials which i could not do with the previous card.

Still making boxes for the vacination clinics. Making the boxes is one thing, but getting the boxes from the clinic the day before is another challenge: when the staff puts away the material, they dont necessarily put it back in the proper box, in the proper order, so i have to UNDO most of the boxes, sort out what is left, so i can REDO new boxes. Did i tell you that i am dreaming of boxes?

It might not look like it, but this is actually a marsh, but since it is very high tide, the water covers all the grass. Great for mirror pictures!
